Old school RTS. Similar to Company of Heroes with maybe a hint of Dawn of War. Genuinely feels like Relic made the game. I'm having a great time playing it -- better than I thought!

A perfected form of a nearly perfect game trilogy. The graphics are much improved, even compared to the fully modded versions of the originals. Mass Effect 1 was always great for story, characters and world-building but left much to be desired when it came to graphics and gameplay. Now you don't have the tolerate the very dated graphics and clunky combat to experience the sense of wonder and exploration that the first game always excelled at. Playing it on an HD ultra-wide monitor with maxed out graphics and still hitting 165 FPS was sheer joy. You cannot adjust the field of view but it still looks fantastic. Even with high-end equipment and all the texture mods on the originals, it was hard to really feel like you were on the Citadel or on an actual planet previously in Mass Effect 1. Too many of the graphics were just nondescript blobs. Now, I feel like I am finally seeing these locations for the first time despite having played through the originals more than a few times. Everything I loved about the original games is still here and nothing has been changed but everything has been buffed and polished until it shines even brighter. I miss the multiplayer that Mass Effect 3 included and I hope they decide to continue it in the future but other than that, I cannot find anything to complain about

Horizon Zero Dawn is the whole package. You’ve got a solid RPG with gorgeous graphics, a fantastic soundtrack, an interesting story and side quests; and, of course, a great big open world ripe for exploration. But, the bread and butter is the combat. You’ll have a sizeable arsenal at your disposal to take down the machines with each weapon having different types of ammo. What I love is that each different type of weapon and ammo are useful in any situation leaving you with many options on how you engage in each fight. You’ll have to study weaknesses and how to best exploit them. Even the lowliest enemy has the potential to kill, so you’ll have to plan and strategize. All of this tied together makes combat exceptional. Some minor complaints like shoddy voice acting and inconsistent framerate, but nothing serious.

No, it's not as good as the first two. And I get why some people hated it at launch, but after the patches and bug fixes to let you play it more like past DS games, it's actually a lot of fun. For me the struggle was the focus on blocking and countering, but once I got that figured out, I enjoyed myself. Loved the art style, most of the dialogue works, and the boss fights are generally excellent. Good music, cool environments. Not much of a story, and heavy on the tropes...but this is Darksiders after all.

This game has a ton of value and a ton of fun packed into it. The single player has a lot of replay ability and is just tons of over the top violent fun that is relaxing and gives you a good power fantasy that will improve any mood while still giving a fair and fun challenge.

A well written and well paced single-player experience only very few games today seem to accomplish. Titanfall 2 is a experience crafted with a great level of care and attention; the story is thrilling and places you into a believable yet incredibly dangerous world with your Titan as your guide and shield.

The balanced parkour and action elements make each fight challenging and rewarding and the game's story is extremely interesting to keep players engaged throughout. The relationship with your Titan grows and makes for a much appreciated and tense story with a generous level of graphical and game-play polish the original TItanfall lacked.

My only two gripes is that I wish the campaign was a bit longer despite being a good length. There was also several instances of cheap deaths given how quickly your pilot dies.

Do yourself a favour and play this game if at all you're interested in a good sci-fi story

A short but no-nonsense romp in a game that puts on the shoes of its ancestors DOOM and Wolfenstein 3D, and finds them fitting exceptionally well. Marred only by some technical issues with mouse acceleration, and some dubious enemy placement behind doors with no time to respond.

If you enjoyed Far Cry 5, you will most likely enjoy this too. It nicely rounds off the story from Far Cry 5. The new levels system for enemies is perhaps a little odd and takes some getting used to, but it does mean there is a ramp-up in difficulty. Expeditions and capturing outposts at higher levels can certainly be challenging.

A complete remake of original Half-Life in Source engine. It is mainly fan made. The plot and main theme is faithful to the original game.
The graphics are gorgeous, but nothing extraordinary for 2020, but well optimized.
Sound and music are good.
Gameplay is mostly a mix of HL1 and HL2, with some wackiness her and there.
Overall I would recommend playing this one after completing the Original
