The best new strategy game I've played is ironically one that is ancient. Cannot beat this, the new DLCs add extra dimension to the gameplay. Would recommend 100%.

Incredible atmosphere and a highly unique experience. Really enjoyed being the underdog and struggling to survive and sneak my way through amid huge and highly grimdark battles. I'm experiencing none of the problems other have reported, and while current some points are a tad rough around the edges, it's clear the Devs are making a real gem here.

By Jove they did it! After patching, new battle system etc- it's shaping up to be a great game.

This game is awesome. Huge Populous: The beginning vibes, but with more depth and complexity. The visuals, sound and atmosphere is a true delight and the game play easy to pick up, but with a lot of depth.

Really excited to see how this game develops and I would very much recommend jumping in for the journey!

A really fascinating game, highly enjoyable. It's mechanics are easy to "get" but hard to master with a lot of complexity. Lots of unique approaches to taking over Kingdoms- from playing politics through your acolytes and pawns, to brutal take-overs, monstrous invasions, stirring civil war- finding artefacts of mass destruction etc- the list is truly massive with a lot of re-playability.

I would highly recommend.

One of the greatest redemption stories in gaming history. This has turned into an incredible game, delivering what was promised and so much more. Huge kudos to the devs and team who instead of just taking the money and running, sat down, worked on this game and turned it into something truly incredible. I cannot recommend it enough.

The story and storytelling is incredibly engaging and amazing, the artwork is truly fantastic and the atmosphere created some of the best and most haunting of any game i've played. Kudos to the developer and team. If you're a fan of macabre tech-dystopianism, weirdness, nailbiting gameplay and amazing visuals and audio- this game is for you!

Play with friends- seduce each others partners, murder their children, marry your own relatives and create the most horrific looking characters possible, all the while trying to hold together your realm, serve your king, kill your king and probably seduce his wife too.

Then the mongols show up...

It's off to a great start, with huge potential- It aims to be an economic/city simulation and builder with detailed (and large-scale) combat, diplomacy with other kingdoms- out of the hundreds of citizens you have (different races too!) you can see their individual stats and names. It'll be a thing of beauty to play when it's finished. Currently it's great fun and you can see the bones of the above features coming to life. Really excited to see where this goes, and would very much recommend to all strategy/simulation fans.

Most detailed, all-consuming and engaging RPG i have played in years.
