Four games and an anime for this?

If you have any appreciation for animation, music, comedy, fun, or Italian cuisine, you need to play this game.

Steam is allowing me to write a review of this game even though I have never played it and do not have it in my library. I did play Dino Crisis once though, and that also had dinosaurs, so this must be a pretty cool game too.

Somehow I keep crawling back to you.

If you've played the original, you'll be disappointed by this game.

If you haven't played the original, you should play that instead. Not this game.

If you're looking for a new experience like Yume Nikki, play any of the fan games.

If you're looking for a generic horror experience, YUMENIKKI -DREAM DIARY- may be more your speed. However, it should be understood that Yume Nikki (the original) is not about horror, jump-scares and invisible walls. Yume Nikki was/is special because it's one of a few games that are hard to categorize into a particular genre. It's a game that mostly takes place in your imagination, and while there are horror elements present, they only make up a part of a collective experience that can only be described as pure wonder.

While YUMENIKKI -DREAM DIARY- comes close to replicating that sensation a couple of times, the sum of its parts makes it too unlike its predecessor and too similar to any number of lackluster horror games in the Steam catalog.

I mean seriously, platforming? Come on.

Perfect port, includes the whole game + all previous DLC. Get this, not Infinite.
