Lot of potential, but I can not recommend in it's current state.

Positives
Professions: The professions (excluding combat) are very rewarding to progress and it is very chill. You are mostly in the same area with others who are progressing the same profession, which means you can chat with them and never feel alone. You don't need to select a world/region, so you can chat with anyone around the world while waiting for your skill animation to finish. The core loop is to gather resources, and process them into something or sell the items. Lot of nice and unique animations can be seen especially in the "Chef" profession.
The professions are divided into episodes, so you can learn them slowly (3-4 professions in one Episode). It is not overwhelming.

Quests: Quests are not like "Kill X monsters there", but all are fun because you go along the story which gives you clues and you can go ahead and try to find out by yourself what to do by exploring areas, talking to NPCs, etc. Expect nice British humors as well.
The quest rewards are nice, because they can give you benefits in professions (like unlocking profession banks) along with some XP or money.

Neutral

Map, Exploration: The world map is divided into rooms, which can be very tiny. Especially Episode 2 feels claustrophobic or feels like a maze as well. But you can get used to it and overall it looks very nice. But I wish the "rooms" where a bit larger than now.

Negatives

I am only listing one negative, which is the combat, but I feel it's the most important problem, as even all Episodes have combat in it.

The current state of combat is very disappointing. All we do is to click an enemy then wait until one of us dies. There is no way to gain advantage by dodging, or playing actively. There is no way to attack multiple enemies at the same time either. All the monsters around the world have no mechanic, except for the bosses which attack in a way that can be avoided by moving properly, but that's it.
Combat is considered as "Profession", which means we need to level combat in each Episode, individually. The creator's reason behind this was to give players a way to experience all the content in it's fresh state without gaining advantage in previous Episodes. When a new Episode comes out, everyone will start from zero and be equal. While I think this is great, the problem comes in the core combat loop itself that is extremely dull.
There are 4 Episodes at the moment, and there seems to be no difference in any on the monsters fought, except for their model and animation of course. So what will exactly be different in Episode 5 or later? Without any combat mechanics, it is just too dull and pointless, and I can not see a reason to look forward to new Episodes if it keeps being like this.

This game is amazing.

Performance/Graphics
Runs very well even on a toaster, and it takes almost no time to load up a track to play (especially with Content Manager).
Since you can customize almost anything, you can balance performance and graphics easily. The game can look unbelievably great with ultra graphics and there are mods which can even improve it further (rain, etc)

Gameplay
Driving the cars feels real and immersive. I recommend to invest in a wheel with force-feedback, especially since this game provides excellent force-feedback.
There are already a lot of cars and tracks available out of the box, but there are also third party apps, patches and mods available which makes this game even better, but it might be a hassle for some people to setup everything.

Multiplayer
Multiplayer lobbies are easy to find with many options whether you want to race, drift or just cruising. To play with friends you can create your own server, or just join the same server.
If you are more serious about simracing and looking for competition, I recommend to try Sim Racing System (SRS). (However there are other options as well.)
A proper matchmaking which is not third party would be more ideal though.
It's also possible to play OFFLINE but send the lap times automatically to a leaderboard via RSR, which can be addictive too.
