A very fun game but the development has been stopped as the devteam works on Sandstorm.
The unit/weapon unlocks allows for a sense of progression as the community waits for new updates.

A note to the the weapon sounds, they are okay although I'd advise subscribing to one of many popular sound packs in the workshop.

Be prepared to play these following four maps on rotation on no other mod than Invasion because every other map either sucks or doesn't have Invasion:

-Crete is the dust2 of Day of Infamy, always the top vote. Playing as the CW you can experience Australian, Scottish and Indian officers shouting "I need a radio!" 20 times while constantly getting ignored by their radioman who are usually afk jacking off to their beloved queen whispering to them that they're a good radioboi through the FM waves.

-Brittany is a cluster♥♥♥♥ of explosives and fire support where Americans have now adopted Soviet human wave tactics. You can now compete with your friends on who can get the most amount of herioc deaths for Uncle Sam charging into a constant rotation of artillary barrages, carpet bombings, stuka dives, panzerschrecks, panzerfausts, and MG42/43 spams.

-Dunkirk, where there are too many German officers calling in stukas just like in Nolan's movie and you have headless chickens select the flamethrower and block every doorway with flames after they recieve a sweet 7.62mm to their gas tank running into A or B (dont subscribe to the death sound mod as it will cause PTSD after witnessing these chickens explode into flames screaming for help as their flesh rots).

-Foy, everybody's favorite but the American team never smokes because they were running low on Lucky Strikes in the Battle of the Buldge and get ready to be double penetrated by 2 MG42s camping the Allied spawn on Charlie. Pray to Goebbels you end up on the german side in Foy.

Nonetheless, this is in my opinion one of the best WW2 shooters out right now. It brings back the memory of CoD1/UO and MoHAA along with all the other classic titles. I've never been this hooked to game that doesn't even have a competitive ladder/ranking system. The game in itself is just fun and every match is a amazing experience.
