An incredible experience.
The best introduction to Dragon Age so far, and with a host of great zones, great quests, great companions, and absolutely amazing combat.

The only game I've played to completion where I can honestly say that the character customisation screen is more entertaining than the game itself.
Making your mutant is fun and they can look both cool and goofy.
The outfits and weapons are fun and cool and goofy.
Combat is fun and cool and goofy.

The story and gameplay is uninspired, extremely lacklustre, and it lacks replayability.
Do not buy at full price, get it when it's 80-95% off.

This could have been a masterpiece if they wanted to. So many biomes and elements and dope game mechanics, packed into a totally disappointing story that feels less and less rewarding as you play and progress.

Sadly with the recent update, I have to change my review and overall outlook on Mordhau.
"Fights that look like fights" has been dropped in favour of poorly optimised combat that has a massively steep learning curve and an enormous skill ceiling.
Half of the mechanics are not explained or immediately obvious, and Mordhau will be alienating new players going forward.

Did I enjoy the hell out of this game since I started? Absolutely. The toughest duels and the silly massive scale battles are great.
Would I recommend it to casuals/new players? Absolutely not. Chivalry 1 was great and Torn Banner have shown that they are the king once again. Get Chiv 2 instead.

-Forktail railed me good and drunk villagers told me to ♥♥♥♥ off

13/10 would recommend anyone with eyes or ears or fingers to play this.
