To me, Okami is the BEST game ever created by human kind, is my favorite, no doubt about this and, from the stand point of the game alone is an experience EVERY gamer should live at least once, is a beautiful story full of life, fleshed characters and mitos, a living canvas y ou can shape on your way to go and an unforgetable journey with unique gameplay that will make you shed a tear in the end.

I recomend everyone to get this game and play it; is almost unbelievable that Crapcom (once Capcom a very well loved company, I know is hard to believe now but it was) was able to create such a great master piece thanks to Clover Studios (now Platinum Games).

Now about this port, as you may know, Okami was released 11 years ago in 2006 for PS2 and few years later for Wii (with terrible motion controls); in 2013 it also debuted with an "HD" version for last gen machines like the PS3; however the PC never had a chance to have an official port of this master piece. (I own all the incarnatios of this game on all platforms, and I feel proud to support the developers of this amazing game)

In 2017, Crapcom announces the port for current gen consoles and PC which made me VERY HAPPY, however the final port can´t be more disappointing (well maybe it could be way worse if it was ported by Ubisoft like RE4 and DMC3, but you get the idea).

This game is released 11 years late (or 4 if you take in count t he HD version of 2013) and it is released in 2017 at 30 fps which is very noticieable. Looks like Crapcom is making a bet with Netherrealms Studios and WB to see who can deloay longer their products to be released on PC and who can screw PC people more.

Now, let me tell you that lazy developers are trying to cover their asses as usually by saying the engine and the physics of the game would broke if they make it run at more than 30 fps (let´s give them credit at least they didn´t said the human eye can´t see more than 30 fps), however this is a big lie, and everyone who had the chance to run this game on Dolphin or PCSX2 can pretty much confirm the game runs flawlessly on 60 fps and with other various graphic improvements.

The graphic options are bare bones, and zero love or effort was put into make the experience better for PC or be able to take advantage of the PC hardware. It has a lot of issues with controllers and it opens the Big Picture mode by default for no reason if y ou use a controller.

I still advice everyone to get this game because is OKAMI and you simply can´t go wrong by buying any incarnation of this wonderful experience, however be aware Crapcom once again ruined what could be the definitive version of this master piece, because apparently is what they do best: disappoint everyone with half assed products.

The game is totally fine because is Okami, and one simply can´t ruin Okami, not even Crapcom can, this only speaks of how great is t his game, but don´t let that distract y ou that we should NOT allow developers to keep releasing 30 fps locked games in 2017.

Hopefully in the same way it happened with Dark Souls, someone with skills finds a way to mod the game to run into 60 fps with proper graphic effects, so keep that in mind for a future.

It breaks my heart to give this a negative review but understand is not about Okami, but about the sub par port (is not terrible, just under average) and lazy developers.

30 fps in 2017 is unacceptable unless you are playing on a gimmick outdated-hardware console like a Nintendo Switch or something

The developers completely said that 60 FPS will break the game. Do some research. Hell, what's so bad about 30 FPS? It's still a playable framerate.

I have played okami several Times on every emulator and I stand by what i said. I can display a 30 fps game at 120fps by displaying The same frame 4 Times, that does not make it a 120fps game.

Well you can go and test it for yourself but since you are too lazy to go check it then you will have to learn to live with my negative review over 30 fps games in 2017 on PC

That's because They are running at 30 fps and not 60. Pcsx2 May be displaying 60 fps but there are only 30 unique frames per second.

I have yet to see one single broken physics on Okami on either Dolphin or PCSX2 @ 60 fps, and as I stated, I already finished them at 100%

You are not getting 60 unique frames on either dolphin or pcsx2, unless you are using a hack which Will break some of The physics. So no, this game does not run flawlessly at 60 fps on any emulator.

this remind me of the time Dark Soul engine would explode if it ran above 720p and 30 fps, or when Xenoverse 1 & 2 engine would turn into a singularity if they forced in real time transformations for the characters.... yet random people who make mods for free proved they were just lazy

Champa your such a whiny bitch, you clearly don't know jack shit about game development and neither do I, but I know enough to see not every game engine is the same you ignorant piece of shit, just cause somethings possible with one game doesn't automatically mean its possible in another. Get over yourself.
