This game is my first and probably my last experience in the Forza world. It manages to gather in one game approximatively everything I hate.

Firstly you MUST have a Microsoft account or else you cannot play: red card. Secondly, if you do not want to link your Steam account to your Microsoft account, you will be asked EACH AND EVERY TIME you start the game to link them: second red card. Then after you end up in the Open World where you are from the very begining overwhelmed by events everywhere which come from the sky without explanation or context. You change seasons for no reasons, even when you do not want to. You start with 2 cars and suddenly have more than a hundred in your garage probably due to DLCs. Every characters have a ridiculously strong British accent, making any interaction deeply irritating. And worst, some events are in fact multiplayer without you noticing, so you are suddenly getting a beat for free with your beginner untuned car. What a mess! The Eliminator mode, i.e. the main online part has an important luck part. If you get a good drop you can play, if not too bad for you. The rest of the online is just broken and it often happens you have to wait 25 minutes on a result screen. Oh and last red cards, the game closed and went back to windows when I got into one of my Aston Martin, or it got stuck 10 mins on the loading screen after trying to retry a taxi run... Not to mention it says playable on Steam Deck but just keeps crashing: it is a scam!

If like me, you want to have a meaningful, structured progression, ideally in a non-multiplayer environment, Forza is not for you: it has none of these!

There is nothing to save the game, even the driving feel and the graphics are so and so. Maybe only the car collector aspect... I am still wondering how the game could be worse... I will have a bit more time to find out since I suspect reaching 100% will be a very long and painful experience.

Edit: I wanted to edit after more than 500 hours to complete everything including acquiring every possible cars in the game. This takes forever and you soon have nothing to do but Eliminator, which I was describing as very random already. But the Forza Eliminator community is one of a kind! When you are involved into head to heads, each and every external players with absolutely NO INTEREST into seeing you lose (more than your opponent), try to bump into you to make you lose and be genuine pricks. No need to say how this makes the whole thing even more random and meaningless. I really hated 95% of the time I spent in this game. Never again!
