Its fun!

Great game!

+ If you are looking for a story-driven singleplayer RPG, this is THE ♥♥♥♥. What surprised me is how many hours of playtime it provides. Im still not finished, Im pretty sure that I have a descend chunk left of the story, and Ive played for 132hrs at this point.

+ There are MANY ways to play the game.

+ Its easy to get in to
- But its alot to take in. If you dont know the basics of D&D 5e, you'll be a little confused at the start. Its easy to waste resources in character building (dont worry, you can respec at anytime) and its hard to plan out Ability scores and feats. Luckily, there are more than enough youtubers that has done the job.

This game is great if you like to remember the good times that were WW2. And who doesn't?

It is complex, but the community is a great one and there is no lack of comprehensive guides for both beginners and advanced players (check the Hoi 4 wiki and YouTube!).

I would recommend this game to anyone who likes strategy. The DLCs adds TONS of features, but the vanilla game is enough to start having a good time.

Easy to learn~ish, hard to master. As the Presidente of a banana republic, you have many levers to pull and a lot of interested parties to piss off.

Worth the price and then some!

I really like this game. There are so many variations to take into account, a bit of randomnes that keeps things fresh and a stimulating shift of what I as a player need to put time and effort into throughout a round from start to finish.

As with all Paradox games, the community is positive towards nwer players and constructive in relations to everything from mod development to youtube content.

WIth the implementation of the 2.2 update and the Megacorp DLC, some players saw change they didnt like. Im not one of them. I really like the update and the DLC and my only three issues are these

1. The AI for vassals seem to be not working as it should. My vassals dont build for war, even when we are at war. i have a hard time using habitats in a satisfying way, a change that I think came with 2.2.

2. I would like to see a system that makes it possible to declare plans to AI vassals and AI Federation members. If I, for example, want to to go war with one other empire, I want to be able to tell the AI allies that I am preparing for that and that they should to the same. I also want to be able to tell them my plan of attack so that they can adapt and vice versa.

3. Habitats are hard to utilize fully and at the same time the way I want to. But thats life, I guess.

Anyway - I really like the game.
