You should Buy Sims 3 or 2 and try those out. Only buy at discount and expect issues in game for 4, but not 3 or 2. I would of tottaly kept to 3 except my partner wanted 4 cause graphics. I honestly would rather of waited on 5 to enjoy the graphics cause 4 wasn't built on a good engine frame. I'm just curious how they will show 5 to be worthy content base game once it comes out compared to how they handled 4 vs 3 alone.

Don't buy this if you want to use your keyboard. The controls are baffling WASD JKLI format and you can't change any binding to the Enter key, the Game simply does not register the Enter Key.

At the Main Menu there is no indication what Select (J) and this is bound to 3 separate interactions Main Attack and Roll as well.

It's sad cause I actually wanted to play this game for awhile. I can't support poor control formatting and lack of real support.

First I got to say it's true there really doesn't feel like there is as much content as you might hope. I still think it's a good game and worth the price. If you are good at picking things up you can complete the game in 3.5 hours. I haven't yet, but I couldn't/haven't figured out how to make iron bars from iron ore yet. In the next run I'd say I likely will beat it and that will probably clock 5 to 7 hours.

With triple AAA games only being 8-16 hours for 30-60$ this game has solid play time and game value. While I would say those story games might have better looks how often do you go back to a game? I would much rather have a shorter sessions game length with tons more replay value. I can ultimately see myself coming back to this game time and again for the level of game play it is, especially if they decide to add more free content to the game.

Early Access Review
For Early Access it's Quality Game-play. Looking forward to what is planned. The Chapter missions should give you a good 24hrs of game-play and then there is Free-play mode that I haven't yet gotten to

Early Access Review
I've put down 24hrs on this game now and this is one of those games I'll put 100+ (done before full release) hours down on. Unlike most games that give you what you can craft, this game does not... mostly. It does have a tips and trick booklet that you can check and get an idea for some things, but other combinations you have to think on a survival knowledge check. They are going for realistic and it totally fits.

I want to give a better review after it gets out of Early Access because you just don't know what they will add. The developer is super active not only on updates, but on the discussion thread giving feed back and taking feedback and suggestions to add things into the game. Which doesn't just make it a passion project to him, but kind of a community project from us.

Sense it's Early Access there are certain things that aren't fleshed out, but don't be fooled as if that means it's not polished. There are Traits that you can unlock by surviving. These traits will allow you to change up the game-play and create your own kind of scenario. These traits can make the game easier or more challenging. The world is pretty vast and the drop/scavenge of things and the difficulty of the game is surprisingly well balanced. Progression is mandatory, but this does not make it feel restricted in how you play the game. This is a management game sliced into a survival scenario and served in a card format which is kind of refreshing style of game-play.

There is a good bit of leniency in this. Each area has their perks and there are so many types of animals and plants you can encounter. There is kind of a clever loading bar to confirm and action that you want to do when combining objects as well of quickly dump or pick up items. It will also tell you how long something will take before doing something.

Edited after playing for a good amount of time

WARNING. This game is not optimized for the PC as of posting this, but a Hot Fix is to be expected. It's a shame to see that it is taking some time to get it fixed, but is priority TOPIC... They are working primarily fixing performance issues, but the other main issues are at least being discussed on how to resolve them.

As a Launch title the 25% discount makes sense as the Keyboard binds are extremely janky with no real way to change them, no way to legitimatly Exit the game and the Keyboard tutorial including Joystick comands. It just screams shotty Console Port.

There are of course some work arounds like Shift+Tab Exit Game option or Alt+F4, and manually remaping using other means.

After putting in a few hours into the game it has really been enjoyable. It can be fickle at times to figure out what the best way to get requirements for new life to be met along the way of terraforming, but tempertare change takes time and once something is born their Adaptation Tempetures help creatures stay alive. While you may encounter creatures being created than going extinct repeatably over a short period of time, I found that some other hidden criterea have yet to be fully met like food source or just poping into the wrong location of the map.

As the game progresses things get easier I really do like how they did the story mode, starting with a small cube with a limited objective requireing less to worry about during the growth of the world. As you change chapters you keep your old cube and simply expand upon it so that you don't have to completely start over. They also added some achievements for you to get during story mode like don't use any Evolution Seeds, or Finish by 5million cycles.

Expanding the the gameplay there are items that make the game EASIER and are not really necessary to be used. There are a few items that are required like River Source or Broth of life, which I wish they did something else with the how to use some of the items. Some items are well balanced in my opinion like Stones that change the temperature. I personally haven't used them as I enjoy terraforming, but from what I understand you can only use one of each type at a time and it effects a certain area around the stone. This is cool for different ecosystems around the cube. Theretically you could have one part of a cube colder while the other side is much hotter. I will definetly play around with this in the future as different parts of the Evolution Tree requires tempertures ranging from 20*C to 45*C.

To expand upon the Evolution tree, it turely is expansive. You really get a feel of creating your own world and eco-system. There are 5 seperate trees to expand upon with sub-branches of each creature at the least 3 times including dead end branches. The Evolution tree really does show they spent a lot of time researching and planing on how to best lay it out for quality gameplay development and diversity. Each creature gives a little bit of a discription and the details of requirements to be birthed and survive alond with a Rarity of up to 9 Stars, they enterestingly chose to give different colors for the stars ever 3 Stars. A bit odd and can be confused at first glance, but it does make it a lot easier to view how many stars it is.

All in all this is a quality game that is worth the price that will easily fill 20 hours of gameplay. This game has great replayability and expansion options that they do wish to expand upon the game. Whether that is a sequel or a DLC that is yet to be known, but I would look forward to whatever they choose to add to the game.

TL;DR if you are looking for a quality peaceful game to just relax and play and really enjoy God Games or City Builders or just simply fascinated with Creatures of old and the development of the world I would strongly suggest this game.

Early Access Review
Cute and unique spin on breeding and farming, if ou can call it that. It's a very relaxing game that doesn't require all that much to play. It's focus is on exploring the map and interacting with the slimes. You are free to play how you want without any form of worry or consequences. However if the farm isn't 100% self-sustaining so if you slack off you will start from square one.

TL;DR: This controller IS NOT plug and play. just about the only drawback to it. The custizations you can do with this thing is insane and the controller just conforms to your hand.

This controller is amazing it's everything I've been waiting for for years without really knowing it. I've never been big on using controller for PC games before simply because the joysticks feel like it limits my control. While the trackpads are great for emulating a mouse they aren't 100% perfect it's more like 90% perfect. I don't actually like touchpads on a labtop, but you know what the haptic feedback on these things make it feel so comfortable more like your flicking a mouse ball rather than a trackpad. The joystick simulation for the trackpads could use some work though because it takes a lot of movement to actually register as anything. It's a real shame I don't really want to use the joystick, but I find my thunb just resting on it and using it without thinking. The XYAB buttons are little bit of an odd possition, but you get used to their locations relatively easily. I find myself sliding my fingers over them to recognize which one is which. The soft pull on the dual stage triggers is a little shorter than I was expecting and the LB and RB are a little bit higher than I would like but their size make up for it. Both grip buttons are extremely comfortable to use and great for mode shifting the trackpads or anything else. The joystick can be configed to be 4 buttons although I would like to see a menu for the joystick as well. Last but not least the gyro on this thing is insane I have it on the second to lowest setting for finetuning shots just so it's not so speradic. The gyro is deffinetly something that you have to get used to using it's like a personal aim assist. You can also set different things to the gyro but I haven't yet played around with those options. Don't really see what the other settings would be used for.

I was enjoying the game until I realized how much clicking I was doing later once you become established. Sadly there is no form of ease of use menu management it is point and click each item indivualy and repeat whenever you want to add a new vehicle. There is no buy X amount or saved vehicle settings for creating a new vehicle. The simplest way to fix this is to have a menu specificly for the different type of mail vehicles have a global < local < individual settings. Where the global and local only need to be read when the vehicle is created to set the default. What it also needs is a place multiple function where with mailbox you have click confirm on each indivual one later on I ended up placing 100 at once so either a drag box selection or confirm after you selected both or even better incorporate both. These are fatal flaws that make the game tedious to play. Other than that it's fun.

Have you grown older and miss the old days of D&D? Are your weekly Pathfinder games not enough for you? Are you having trouble finding a party of adventures to dungeon crawl with you? Look no further cause Card Hunter brings challenging AI and tactical thinking that will keep you entertained for hours, and it's all free to boot.

create a party of three of your choice from from the following races and classes:
Races: Dwarve, Human, Elf
Classes: Warrior, Mage, Priest
Why not level each type that's a combo of 165 parties have at it!

Loot is well set up each class gets specific gear the only ones that are in common are the Shield (which both the warrior and priest get) and Boots (whichs everyone gets) not to mention each class and race get special skill slot. The awesome part is gear is how you get your cards. You don't pick and choose cards individually like a deck builder, but you find loot which have 3 cards attached them them; unless they are weapons which have six cards. The play style for each class is tremindous I can't say on play style is better then the other but there is deffinitely synergy to make a character awesome. Personally I'm thinking of making a life steal dwarven priest, a dwarven mage that plays keep away with a card that causes them to take damage whenever they move and a elven warrior that is hasty to get in close and deal some heavy damage. What type of class you play may fall to lady luck depending on the items your able to find.

I have yet to touch multiplayer I want to finish the single player first before I try it out, but single player and multiplayer is linked so that you use the same character and gear and levels are locked when you switch to multiplayer to create an even playing field.

Long story short if your a fan of table top RPG adventures this is the game for you.
