Contrast is a fantastic indie puzzle game where the player can move between an amazing 3D world and a mysterious shadowy universe in 2D in the blink of an eye. You play Dawn, the friend of a young girl named Didi. Dawn can slip from the 3D world into the parallel 2D shadow world bound to it. You will need this power during the game to solve enviromental puzzles. Dawn can manipulate light sources in the 3D universe to distort, enlarge or stretch the 2D shadow world. The music of the game is excellent, too and will take you back in the 1920s. I highly recommend this to everyone who likes puzzle games 9/10 from me.

Lo Wang is back! Shadow Warrior 2013 is better than ever. Player steers Lo Wang during his journey to get the legedary sword called Nobitsura Kage back. The game has 17 chapter, each chapter contains a lot of battle against wide variety of demons and has also more peaceful sections to replenish your ammo or find secrets, money and fortune cookies. Scavenging for thing i mentioned before is essential, for example weapons can be upgraded with money. There are KI crystals to be found that enables you to improve your dark powers. The more badass you are in battles the more karma points you will get. Karma points are for upgrading your skills. Graphics is excellent, gameplay is fantastic and story is just awesome. To be frank i did not expect the game to be mind blowing. SW is much more fun and better than other so called high budget AAA fps games, and has the best sword attack gameplay. Katana and its upgrades are very powerful so you can easily eliminate your enemies using it. After having the right skill you can pick up demon's heart and head and use them as weapons to cause heart attack. SW is perfect FPS game i haven't encountered any problems. It is a must-buy game so go grab it and enjoy the epic adventures of Lo Wang 10/10.

State of decay is one of the best third person survival horror open world game. Graphics is good enough, story is fine. SoD is not a brainless zombie killing game, you are a member of a community stucked in Thumbull county. Player have to manage the community which includes doing favoures for survivors to gain trust to become friends later; scavenging for vital supplies such as food, medicine, building materials. In the game you have a "home base" which can be upgraded with 9 facilities, and also has space for outpost to build. Outposts extends the safe area and have supply cache to restock your equipment. The game can be played id different ways, someone likes playing stealthy, others prefer brute force to complete missions. Ah, the missions; i found side missions a bit repetitive, but they are okay. Driving cars is useful but makes a lot of noise which attracts zombies. When you are at your base you can change the character you are playing if the other character is your friend. Changing is adviseable to let the used character rest to get their vitality and stamina back to maximum value. SoD is beyond my expectations, i recommended everyone who loves zombie games 9/10.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is a great combination of XCOM and Mass Effect franchise. You play William Carter member of secret government organisation (The Bureau) which is fighting aginst the extraterrestrials threat in 1962. The game is a tactical TPS game and has also RPG elements. On missions the playable character has 2 AI controlled fellow agents. You and your agents get XP points by defeating enemies and completing missions; having enough XP ponits you level up and new perks become available to use in the combat. During mission you can obtain alien technology to improve your weapon and backpack arsenal. There are major and minor operations and you can unlock dispatch missions by completing investigations in the secret XCOM base. Williiam Carter has the special ability "Battle Focus" that slows time down and allow him to order other 2 agents to do actions like placing mine, deploying shiled sphere etc. At level 9 you can control your enemies' mind turning them against its race. You must use your enviroment for survival, and the enviroment can be your ally if you use it wisely! You can recruit new agents as well as retire max level agents. I recommend everybody who likes TPS games not gunblazing style. I really enjoyed playing it 8,3/10.

Remember me is a new action steampunk game from Capcom. If you miix batman combat system, assassins creed exploration and deus ex world you will get Remember me. The playable character is Nilin, the pro memory hunter, the memories of whom has been wiped out by Sensen corporation. All peoples memory is stored on a server called H3O, and Nilin has the job to destroy it. Sensen corp. is carrying out memory remix experiments on humans turning them into Leapers. There are 8 episodes in the game. As you go through the story you will unlock combos and pressens, the latter improve your combat efficiency. Special abilities can be unlocked as well such as Logic bomb, Sensen dos etc, which give you advantages when fighting against enemies (enforcers, leapers, robots and their varieties). there are boss fights, too, but they are not so hard even on memory hunter difficulty. As a memory hunter yoiu can remix key targets memories to achieve your final goal. In memory remixes you can alter the memory, for example you can make a former fatal car crash not happen. The basic idea of the game is excellent, its implement could be better. It is a good game though 7/10 from me.

Dishonored is a masterpiece action-FPS -RPG from Arkane Studios. You play Corvo Attano, the bodyguard of the Empress. At the begining of the game a trap is set for Corvo and he is believed to have killed the Empress and he is made responsible for the disappereance of the Empress child, Emily Kaldwin therefore he got imprisoned. Some loyalists help Corvo to escape the prison after then he starts his missions to take revenge on people responsible for murdering the Empress and kidnapping Emily. There are many ways to complete 9 missions. Your actions inflict the end of the game. The more people you kill the more rats and weepers will be during missions and the story ends "darker" because of high chaos. You can play through the entire story without killing anyone, this means low chaos and you bring Golden Age to Dunwall in the end. Sokolov paintings, runes and bone charms can be collected during missions. Runes are used to buy supernatural powers like bend time, blink, possession etc. Bone charms give you smaller advatages such as helath potion gives you more helath upon using. During missions you can colect coins in order to buy weapons and equipment upgrades. I think Dishonored is GOTY 2012 in stealth action FPS category. I really enjoy playing it. Awesome story, gameplay. 10/10.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger is an awesome FPS game from Ubisoft. Gunslinger turned back to CoJ roots. Events take place in the Wild West and you play the role of Silas Greaves, the bounty hunter who is chasing and hunting down the most notorious outlaws such as Billy the kid, Jesse James, Dalton brothers etc. The game has RPG elements, you get XP points for killing enemies and completing tasks. As ypu level up you can unlock diverse abilities that are required for your survival at harder difficulties. The story takes cca 6 hours to end, but Gunslinger has two new game modes: Arcade and Duel. In Arcade mode you have to fight through an entire area as quick as you can keeping your combos high for the highst score. In Duel there are total 15 shootouts to be won honorably but you have only 5 lives, so if you die 5 times Duel is over and you must start from the beginning. I highly recommend everybody who likes former CoJ games. It is really worth its 15 euros price. 9,8/10

Brütal legend is a heavy metal themed hack'n slash open world racing game. You play as Eddie Riggs who become the leader of Ironheade after having freed them by starting a revolution. Eddie's main enemy is the boss demon named Dovicolous. On the tour we have lot of stage battles against demons, and we can recriute fans to our side. Many collcetibles are scattered around to find, and there are also secondary missions, too. Completeing primary and secondary quests as well as helping your buddies to defeat enemies you gain fire tributes that is used as a "currency" to buy upgrades for yourself and your vehicle called Deuce. Deuce can be summoned everywhere after playing a giutar solo. Giutar solos results in cool things such as battly cry, summoning a burning airship which crashes to your enemies causing serious damage to them etc. And finally you can always hear heavy metal music for example from Motörhead. I really enjoyed playing it. 7,5/10

The refreshed Devil May Cry game is back and better than ever in my opinion. It is a hack'n slash game with rpg elements and 20 missions. During missions there are a lot of hidden items (lost solus, secret keys and doors) to be found for achievements and rewards. You get style points during combat, the nore badass you are the more points you get. At the end of a mission your final score is calculated and uploaded to the leaderboard. Secret missoins are only available if you find the hidden keys and doors. Enemies are diverse, and sometimes difficult to defeat. Boss fight are excellent. Recommended game for players who like hack and slash games. 8/10.

The new Tomb Raider gives us awesome story and excellent gameplay. As Lara Croft we have to survive on an diverse island containig a lot of enviromental puzzles, secret tombs to raid and lots of collectibles to find. Lara can hunt animals down and she gets xp points for it as well as for completing objectives and challenges, killing and looting enemies and findig salvage. Lara's moves, techniques and weapons can be upgraded if you collect enough xp, weapon parts and salvage. I think this is the best game in Tomb Raider franchise and in 2013 by this time. I recommend everybody 9,6/10.
