I'm sure when this game first was launched it was a huge let down not to preorder due to problems etc. I was so excited to see batgirl! Finally this game went on a deep sale to which I bought it AND the other letdown, suicide squad KTJL. boy oh boy have I been missing out! Between playing Suicide Squads team and Batmans Knights - I'm having a complete blast!

I got this game today and already wanted to play 5 hours into it. It's the Arkham world but through the storyline of Batmans Allies. I'm really getting into the storyline. The best part is random players can join my lobby and play with me. One new friend did just that - it was Redhood and Batgirl against Gotham City.

My only con since the game launched is that traveling on motorcycle is terribly slow - they tried to make you think it's fast - but cars getting passed by almost 5 mph more.

Thankful the developers made this standalone, the graphics and at times the story was fantastic, yet at majority of times - it's a letdown. If this game did anything - it left me without answers to things I wanted to know about the entity and a whole lot more questions and confusion after the credits began to roll. There's so much we don't know. This gets a good review because I want to see more from Behavior Interactive, yet this should get a negative review simply for being no where near a masterpiece. Majority of players are going to play it once or twice and move on - I really hope the devs have a future with this story.

After having completed the storyline, I'm left feeling mixed reviews. This felt like a game that you're not going to want to replay over and over again. There was extremely too much talking - I was ok with the buildup of all the characters, yet there wasn't a major reward at the end of the tunnel when it came to the real reason we all want to play this game - the action and thrill are cut short. CONSTANTLY waiting for the jump scares or horror to show up - and when it did - it wasn't good enough. No one cares about a stupid spirit that you have to pretend your magical camera can stop the ghost. I expected this to be about FRANK STONE. This was just a huge buildup of the reincarnation of The Champion. I will want to play certain scenes to see "did I make the right choice", thus the Until Dawn developers did a decent job at leaving me with another 120 story arches I'm curious to see what they are - but again, there isn't going to be a excitement to this rediscovery. This might get 40 hours and uninstalled.....

You start to really get attached an love the characters and their background history - yet, it feels for nothing.

This game had better graphics, scenes, talking, lighting, atmosphere than Dead By Daylight - everytime they showed something to tie into our beloved game of 8 years, I felt the connection and excitement. I'd love to see the better graphics, the conversations etc brought into the DBD game. Finding parts before you can even begin to start repairing a single generator was extremely tasteful.

The most important thing I wanted from this game honestly was to see more of the Entities lore. I felt I missed a few things to tie that wish together. I honestly don't know what will happen when I change the entire story. Perhaps I can find more journals.

Spoilers from here on out.

The ending was very exciting - although I did expect Frank Stone to be a DLC killer - I didn't expect him to be transformed into a monstrosity (I thought he might of been the first Killer, yet I'm wrong) and they show him getting ready for Dead By Daylights theme with the campfire!!!! I was really hoping we'd get to play one round of actual dead by daylight as the ending :/
Not really understanding the final cutscene, are we getting another standalone continuation?
sigh, very disappointed we didn't see Tommy again in 1980. We saved the child - and the child didn't change anything being older in 1980 or 2024. I honestly hated that we didn't get to control Sam by shooting Frank, it was just a cutscene.

What upsets me the most is the beautiful trailer for this game made us feel that we were about to be in for a serious ride with Frank Stone, but instead - it was all just a buildup to his transformation LATE in the story. It was never about Frank, it was about all these innocent people falling down while the Entity was being summoned. It feels cold and empty after 8 hours of storyline, what did we really achieve? So let me get this straight......Chris gets teleported, which was AWESOME - but then she did nothing. The pendant did nothing. Finding trinkets did nothing. I don't feel the choices made mattered. What did I learn from any of this time? Maddie having nightmares of her mom did nothing. Bonnie dying in the 80s while Maddies timeline mom in her world died months before - did nothing. When a character dies, it doesn't change anything expect they are gone. No consequences for losing them.

Evidently there are countless timelines with each their own filming of what happen at the Steel Mill - yet somehow this ONE video put back together was the real one. Yet we don't see how Linda knows nothing about it - and Sam is stuck in a youthful timeline.

I'll play through parts of it again to try to make sense of it all - but a full play through feels like a complete waste of my time.

Edit: I have watched a 1 hour video explaining the storyline and it makes a bit more sense. I have watched some of the alternate moments of the game and have found some better scenes. All in all, this is making or breaking the game based off of what you thought you did was best vs seeing a great or subpar storyline.

I can't help but stress how live like Bonnie looks. That Robert green having fear in his face when he realizes he needs to forget about sneaking past his dad and needs him to finally get involved. I enjoy how lifeless Frank Stone is, as if he's just gone from the amount of evil - instead of bloodlust evil, that of many serial killers.

I just saw this game and immediately wanted to get it. Its style of gameplay is something I've been wanting for a very longtime which is compared to a few turnbased styles like Xcom 1/2, Aliens vs Predator Extinction and several other games kinda like This War of Mine. I just played nonstop and lost track of time for 7.4 hours of gameplay and have barely gotten far into the game!!! The storyline is fantastic, The characters are engaging. The train concept is super cool and slow at progression. I went on several missions that had me doing everything I could to save my soldiers lives. Amazed at how much care into the artwork, accuracy of the world war and seriously in awe at the live action acting that went into this PHENOMENAL game. Bravo to the Developers!!! Can't wait to see the upcoming DLC mentioned.

Loving the game for it's storyline and continuation from the movies of 2 and 3. The City, the Police Station and the different locations are outstanding. There's good story for Lewis and the rest of the Officers. The voice of Murphy is the actual actor, which is fantastic. Flashbacks feel great. These cons really are for the devs to take note on and I'm wondering WTF they were thinking.

Came back to the game after months break - somehow I lost a lot of storyline progress. Just spent the last 90 minutes redoing all old missions.

Biggest Cons:
---Whoever they got to voice Sgt Reeds doesn't sound anything like the actor from the movie. It's a complete disappointment since his "tough leadership voice" really set the mood in the movies.
----Robocop only has his iconic heavy foot stomping noises. You don't ever hear his iconic robotic sounds when he moves his legs, arms or head around. Matter of fact, he can move his body and head rapidly and nothing feels robotic about him. This was a major part of what made Robocop feel real - was the mechanical noises his body made. Hopefully there will be a Nexus Mod made.
------- Very disappointed that you don't have the option to take out his leg weapon and holster it - it's all preset combat cinema only. However I do like the modifications that you can do the to weapon with the Mother Boards.
------- His HUD is ok, but I wish they would have given you more ways to feel you're in Robocops Visor - The movies would show history and photos etc. you have to aim down the sites before it'll lock onto targets. You only get a night vision mode which seems barely usable 9.5 hours in.
____ When in Detroit, it would have been cool if you could travel across the city while in the Squad Car, instead you gotta go on a Marathon run - GOD forbid you couldn't find an objective along the way, or you're going to end up running around too much. There's only really one area of Detroit the second time you go on patrol - so it feels "reused" and makes the environment feel cramped.
___ I went on a mission that throughout the combat - I ended up winning the end of it with 1% HP left - yet in the cut scene, Robocop was in pristine looking condition. I had to switch to his Battle Damage Cosmetic to which to my disappointment, you had to go back to the MAIN MENU to switch outfits.

Overall the skills you can upgrade are amazing, the graphics, lighting and effects are fantastic action packed. Overall I'd give this game so far a 8/10 - They nailed the game overall - but things from the movies that made him iconic are being left out for some reason. Other than upgrading skills and motherboards, there isn't anything cosmetic or weapon wise that advances with the game. The devs need to watch the movies a few more times and add what is apparently left out.

Early Access Review
I play Dead By Daylight, Phasmaphobia, and have even played through Alien Isolation. This is a scary game since you're in the dark versus a creature that has sound hyper sensitivity. It makes you very aware of how much noise you're use to making, and suddenly can't. You're having to be slow and scared the entire way. After losing a bit of patience - I got a little faster - then it attacked me, giving me a great jump scare!

Short game, but awesome story, graphics, challenges and characters. It's so cool to see a game that can screw with your head via portals :). The challenges had me stuck from time to time - but it's such a reward to finally figure problems out. Bout to play Portal 2!
