I came back just on the off chance that there might be something interesting to try, but the new content is locked behind the DLC paywall for Angry Earth which is not worth the price of admission. New World is suffering in player retention and has been for some time now.

I also cannot log in on my character due to some bizarre bug that had to be escalated to the development group, so I can't play even if I really wanted to. I'm going to uninstall and probably forget entirely about New World which is a shame as I was thrilled to play it when it was first announced.

I am the guy who focuses on making sure my adventuring friends have a nice, cozy home to return to at the end of the day. The granular building mechanics and plethora of build items to place make this a very interesting game. I also like that I can handle most of the combat tasks without too much difficulty, and there are boss mobs to fight that are worthy of calling for help.

I unfortunately purchased this via Humble, and several more copies for friends, so I am unable to request a refund. I know it would be a silly simple task to make a throwaway PSN account but I still find the practice of "sell them all!!!" and then retroactively adding this requirement to be incredibly scummy and cannot support it.

I liked the game, so much so that I spent almost $150 to buy several copies for various people. I cannot support them any further due to this new requirement. It's not that they want the account enabled; it's that they rugged us after months of massive sales income.

I'm thrilled to finally be able to play. I generally think it could do with some more QoL features, and a more granular management for the workers/scavengers. I really like it and I'm excited to see what they bring in future updates.

It's much better than launch, but the community is full of toxic people. Also somehow in 2023 we still have people picking medic and not reviving.

This game is rough, you will lose frequently. If you're used to Tarkov, you will find this is a little less intense.

I keep coming back, though.

I saw a friend playing, he said it was "alright man", I bought it. It was indeed "alright man".

I am absolutely the LAST person you would find playing a Souls game, but Elden Ring is amazing. It's not the same head-bashing frustration that I felt from previous titles.

I'm excited to see more.

Beautiful world, beautiful story, truly amazing.

A welcome breath of fresh air from Civ V. I like a lot of the new systems introduced (religion overhaul, natural disasters, districts, wonder placements, etc) and dislike some of the new systems introduced (loyalty namely)

If it's on sale, pick it up. You won't be disappointed.
