Wait for them to smooth the game out. Currently the game runs like Stephen Hawking on a treadmill. I have a 3090TI and an i9 13900k and i'm getting MAYBE 30FPS in VR. It's making me sick and that's not a figure of speech.

If they walled garden the mods, this game will be irredeemable trash and i hope Kunos goes under. If this game gets full mod support, this game will be excellent and able to be played for the next 15 years plus. The future of this game is 100% dependent on community support. The ball is in Kuno's unfinished gravel paved court. DON'T BLOW IT!!!!!

This is a game for people who care more about how a game looks than how a game plays. This game plays like absolute trash. I got 10 min in and i'm scrambling for the refund button. It controls like outrun if it was made by someone who skimmed over a wikipedia article about outrun, then decided to make an "Outrunner"-like to sell a slap sticker line. Everything about this game screeches poser.

After spending some time with this game, The driving feels GREAT, but the game is unfathomably ugly. The rain on the windshield is just an animated texture, not actual rain particle effects like virtually every game made after 2012, The puddles have no effect on handling, The rain itself seems to not even really matter because your car still has the same grip as it does dry.

The track selection is the same forza IRL tracks, maple valley, a new oval with a center sweeper they had the audacity to call Hakone, and nothing else. It's not as bad as forza 3, but it's still very sparse.

Overall, this game is worth about $25 dollars. And that's being generous. Don't buy this game. By the time it goes down to what it's worth, the GAAS content will of dried up, and it shipped with hardly anything.

Gameplay is incredibly shallow. Devs have made zero progress outside of seaonal updates. You'll never have enough ingredients, and there's no timeline on plans on implementing methods on letting you aquire more through garden upgrades. This MIGHT shape up to be something decent and relaxing, but it won't.

Imagine you order a burger. You know what a burger is and should be. Beef patty, lettuce, cheese, pickle, bun on top and bottom and some ketchup. You get one piece of bread on top and a patty with only a tomato and ketchup sitting on top of a crumpled up burger wrapper. And your drink is all ice and no soda.

This is the DJ Max you remember from a decade ago, but with some new music. There's no arcade mode yet, and alot of the music is locked, but other than that, not really sure how this is early access. It appears to be 99% done.

Nah, it's more like borderlands, terrible anthony burch writing included, with average shooting and a world that's empty and devoid of nearly anything to do other than butt into enemy skirmishes.

Do you remember DJ Max trilogy? Remember how it was DJ Max for PC? Do you with DJ Max had ♥♥♥♥♥♥ notecharts, no way to pick between 4 5 6 and 8 key? Do you also wish the game was so laggy, even the menus lagged? Do you want dropped notes because the game's code is written worse than Michael J fox scribbing a haiku using a pen shoved up his ass while rolling down hill in a barrel?

Well this game might be for you, but be sure to sterilize yourself asap because we don't need more people like you. In fact shave your ass and walk backwards into traffic.

I gave this game more than ample time to get it's act together, and it hasn't.

I'm running a 1070, and i'm getting 18fps on medium. The game is THAT badly optimized. Also you have to reset your video settings each time you open the game. Add to that the almost 3 minute loading screens.

You can't paint cars till maybe 40ish hours of grinding? 30? But i've been going like gangbusters, i'm at level 20ish, and you need to be lvl 45 to do something as basic as bodywork and painting.

I can't even work on cars anymore on my 20 hour profile, because a car with a mysterious problem is taking up my lifters. Everything is above the repair limit, but i'm still getting an error message "Car is in worse condition than when it came in" because the devs decided to take out the ability to send out an unfinished car from previous games.

This would have been a fantastic game if the developers had actually tested the game before releasing it, instead of pushing out a flaming dumpster of an unoptimized mess of a codepile that they call "Car mechanic simulator 2018".

Under no circumstances should you pay anything for this game, If you are gifted it, move it to your "unplayable trash" pile.

You hardly notice a difference, the filesize is YUGE!!!! and it gives your performance a swift kick to the gut.
