Campaign: Not AAA quality, a hefty step down from Witch Queen. The boss fight in the final mission doesn't do justice to the build-up of the story. Campaign as a whole still not as bad as older campaigns that required doing patrols/bounties.
Strand: Fun to use, but only 1 super and 2 aspects per class which is lame. Balance-wise it's literally a better version of Stasis.
Raid: Worst in Destiny 2. Repeating dungeon-level mechanics that puts 4 of the 6 players on add-clear for the entire raid.
Expansion Weapons: Re-skins of old weapon models, uninspiring (normal for an expansion as raid weapons are normally the peak of weapon strength)
Raid Weapons: Not the peak of weapon strength, not worth your time.

The content isn't anything special, but some guns locked behind this paywall are meta. This Year 4 content can't be bought in a bundle if you already own other content in that bundle, it's an actual scam.

Unless you are tryharding destiny, you can go without Beyond Light.

At the cost of more than a AAA game, I still can't play a lot of content in this game as I only paid to see behind one paywall. The content itself is good though

A sick expansion when it came out that has now turned into a scam

Game is fun but the xp grind required to unlock towers is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥, even after a day 2 buff to xp gain.

Currently the best CDPR game!

Top shelf game

The game is fun while starting out. If you play for more than a few hours download mods & custom songs, it's a life changer.

Why I wouldn't recommend this game:
1. Opens through Uplay
2. Story progress isn't saved for guests (i.e. not host) in co-op
3. Can't be too far away from the host (like 200m), or you get teleported back
4. Can't do anything on the 'Respawn in 20..' screen, like let me open my inventory
