Spent 1 or two hours playing the game. It's pretty fun.

For a five buck indie game, the binding of isaac has a remarkable amount of replayability. It's cartoonishly gruesome, and I love every second of playing it. Unfortunately, the difficulty can range from easy breeze to OGAWDMAKEITSTOP. Sometimes you'll get every item you need on the first few floors, and somtimes you'll go for floors and floors without finding a decent power-up. This aside, it's an easy pick up and play game, great for a lunch break, or if you need a little cartoony gore to go with your christmas cheer.

Although Yahtzee placed his "Like God of War But..." stamp on Darksiders, I enjoyed this game, on the whole. The action is fluid, the graphics are pretty, and the game has enough length to keep you occupied for a while. However, in spite of it being a good ACTION game, the story itself falls flat on a few occasions, although it did have a satisfying conclusion. One of the things that irked me was how little you use your horse, Ruin. You get him about 3/4 of the way into the game, and even once you've GOTTEN him, his only real use is moving about more quickly in the overworld, which seems rather contradictory; you're a HORSEMAN of the apocalypse, but you fight on foot more than you fight on your horse. The other thing is that even though the game takes several themes from Zelda, like the"overworld" the game fdoes't make USE of those themes properly; it feels extremely linear. However, in spite of this, the game was fun; it just didn't reach its full potential.

This game, although it's a carbon copy of Katamari damacy with a smaller difficulty curve, is still extremely fun. It has engaging, catchy soundtracks (though they can get a little tiresome, especially if you're replaying levels) and bright, colorful levels full of...Well, odd things. If you like Katamari Damacy, or like the concept behind it, then you'll like this game. I couldn't recommend it at its full price (ten bucks is alot, especially considering how short the game is) but at its current sale price of five bucks? I'd say get it.

With beautiful graphics, engaging puzzles, and an enigmatic storyline, Braid as an xbox live arcade game does more than most full length console games. Although the ending left me a little unsatisfied and confused (even the EPILOGUE is a puzzle!) I could play this game over and over again, and would heartily recommend it to anyone who's a fan of puzzle games.
