fun very cool puzzles that require thinking and logic,
game is about 'puzzles' yet is intertwined with 'slight' story, but combined very well.
puzzles allow you to progress in game ( chest to get key, lever to reveal staircase ... )
patience required, yet will be rewarded with further exploration
music is atmospheric and timely
I admit, I had to google 'walk-through' to finish some puzzles,
cause I had to finish 'this quest' ..... you know how it is

Being an RPG fan, I have followed this game since its release. But did not buy it till now.
I searched for other, higher rated RPGs. Got into Witcher, AC Odyssey and others.
Today In this age of 'survival', and 'zombie' games, ( meh ) A good RPG is rare.
Sooooo I got this ( lower price and few patches helped )
Now "I get to be the one to say, WOW I have missed out"
THIS Excellent RPG in every way ! ( Except camera and a few graphics oddities. )
No bugs, No game breaking faults, No crashes.
Excellent original story as a diplomat. Soooo a lot of talking and thinking, action takes second.
Story actions and Voice response has consequences. UI, inventory, crafting, upgrading, even AI , ALL superior.
You travel with 2 AI of your choosing, out of 4. You equip them as well, They advance in skill with you.
Travel encounters run into creatures you must fight.
Ah-Haaaa the amazing depth of everything is layers upon layers. ( except camera and a few graphics oddities )
Upgrade your stuff ( and AI ) to suit your style and strengths. Layer on variables of ; strengths, armor, weapons, skills.
See your stats ( and AI ) change while doing so.
The various creatures also have strengths and weaknesses.
Before Leaving camp, ' Choose wisely Ohh young diplomat ' From Alllllll your stuff and AI
Many camps for you to discover, and later fast travel to.
Save game like your life depends upon it. ( Saves not available in game difficulty above 'Normal' )

CONS; camera while traveling is wobble bobble wigglie. ( not during fights ) Sometimes light suddenly fades or brightens.

I give up. Take me to jail and hang me. I refunded this game Cannot EVER get the CrockStain library launcher to install or run. Tried EVERY tip known to man for 2 weeks. Still stuck on CrockStain Library launcher.

sort of old school style, but sound and graphics ( during card games ) are very well done. Simple ( witcher ) story, but puzzles and interactions, and of course card games, are challenging and of 'great strategy'. While I primarily play RPGs, this activity game of 'strategy' really gets me thinking, when in the mood for it. You earn cards for in game accomplishments, to use in your card decks for Gwent !!!! ----> The ultimate card strategy game ( with visual CGI actions ) Ohhh O man-o-man. Thronebreaker is an extension to the Witcher RPG game universe, you want this 'card game' I got it for $10 This is a separate game 'combo' of both running around action and card games. The one and only, MAIN 'card-only' game is Gwent

fun, graphics action is cool, rewards from playing are plentiful, FREE.... Actual STRATEGY GAME, yet WITH RPG aspects or lets say... YOUR ABILITY to change / upgrade your 'deck' .....card games are 1 v 1 yet quick and timed, you must play a card or loose a random card in your hand, you can modify your 'deck' from several factions of ALLllllll.... your cards, you call-it you play-it, your opponent will decide your fate ! OK
welllllll re-evaluate your 'deck' for 'that' faction, try again..... Ohhhh daily and weekly rewards for one deck or another.... vs Unknown random EQUALLY CHOSEN player... fun game, quick ( I like it ) play some every day, for few minutes or more. BOTTOM LINE for you Strategy people.... STRATEGY IS INFINITY based upon your cards ( at the time )

PC player here, I have eyed this game for years, finally got it on sale. Crash every 4 or 5 minutes. Fought thru to the Island then got on ship with Pirate Boss. Stopped there cause Crash every 4 or five minutes. In fact cant get past 'ship sails off with pirate boss crew video'. I stopped there. Visit website ---- there is NONE. Search for fix --- none work. HAVE A NICE DAY too bad, cool game, story, fun, good inventory, good stuff, good RPG pirate adventure

Yes I like it better than ANY previous AC, and this has none of that 'time travel' stuff.
Neat as it is , ( in this game ) time travel does not really do anything for me.
Get it on sale, purchase some 'boosts' for real cash.
