Jade Empire is a RPG made by Bioware, studio behind Mass Effect; KOTOR and Dragon Age. You play as a kung fu student who goes after his master's kidnappers. Along the way happens a lot and you get meet lots of interesting characters.

Basically Jade Empire is what you expect from Bioware: lots of dialogue with your crew, simple battle mechanics and interesting lore and world. It takes its lore and world from chinese history and makes it its own. By today's standards graphics don't scare you away but they are nothing special. Battle mechanics were almost merely one-button-smashing but there were also little bit strategic elements behind it.

In my opinion the main aspect in the game is the story. I found it starting up slowly with firt couple of hours but then it was hard not to play it 'till the ende by one sitting.

I recommend it with 9/10. Bulletproof Bioware quality.

GTA in Hong Kong, what more ca you say. Controls are a bit stiff for a pad-player, but doesn't make the game unplayable. Lots to do and see. Story is A+ quality with great voice actors. 8,5/10

Brings back memories :D
After all these years it has pretty solid gameplay and graphics. Thumbs up
