A great game, it looks, feels and sounds like Indiana Jones.
There was plenty of diversity in the puzzles, and there were enough callbacks, references and little nods to Indy that made the game feel so in-depth to me
I can honestly say that this has been one of my favourite games of the year.

The game looks, sounds and feels like Dragon Age, from the collection of rag-tag followers to a story that feels like it fluidly picks up where the previous game left off.

While I wasn't sure on the gameplay leading up to the game, after replaying Inquisition the day before release, I have to say, Veilguard is a massive improvement. While I wasn't certain about not having full control over all members of my party at the start, I found that it felt more fluid and easier to get into the swing of things when I all I had to do was keep track of their combo-abilities.
The combat feels smooth and fluid, and I have to admit, I really enjoyed the boss fights through the game.

I loved the variety in the background options as well, and the ability to make my new character one of my beloved Grey Wardens from the get go made the game feel so unique, and my own. In many ways certain aspects of the art style also felt closer to Origins, especially the way that armours look, I wasn't overly keep on the armour looks for characters in 2 and Inquisition, but the variety and options allowed me to get so many hits of Origins nostalgia.
And to another point on that, the ability to transmog your gear from the get go was a massive boost to how I felt playing the game.

I'm going to let the game simmer in my head for a while before I do another playthrough, but I think for me the game is now joint 1st for my favourite DA game.

I'm excited to see what the future holds for the series, and what the future might hold.

Remember Space Marine 1?
Well this is that, but the controls aren't as clunky, your friends can play with you, and the graphics are great

There's a weight to every step, every bolt round feels like it has punch, and the waves and swarms of 'nids feel fluid and natural

A great port and a perfect nostalgia kick
The controls are still super janky, but that's pretty much how I remember the game in the first place, it's fun to be able to go back through it now I can actually understand the controls, rather than kid me stuggling through

It's a fun game, entertaining, amusing, and challenging in all the right ways, personally I find it much more enjoyable when playing with friends, and the in-game lore, tid-bits, and references to the success/failure of major orders by the ship-board NPCs is a great addition.

At least one of their community managers in the games official discord seems to have a record of being less that great when dealing with the community, so be careful if you go there to voice your opinions

I wont even lie, the main reason I play this game is the Galactic Contention mod...
That's it...

A brilliant, brilliant game, absolutely beautifully made.
Still a bit buggy when it comes to rendering, and computing the effects of combat, but if anything that adds to the D&D feel of the game.

I fully recommend this game to anyone interested in D&D at any level, it's extremely friendly for beginners and for veterans alike.

My only complaint is that I can't go all the way to level 20, and the talk of some of the cut content that I hope will be added to the game in the future. I would gladly pay for an expansion to the game if it's made with the same love and attention to detail that the main game was made with.

(Written during beta time) It feels like a perfect addition to the franchise gameplay wise, there's aspects that I feel need to be changed, but they're also something that I can easily overlook, because it doesn't actually interfere with playing the game.
I'm interested to see where the campaign goes in this

It's a perfect nostalgia trip, as someone who played all the original games on XBox it's been great to replay some of my favourite games on the PC.

Only drawback is the lack of ME3 multiplayer, but that's easily overlooked
