Yeah I've heard that, or that it uses a 'smoother' plastic that Cherry may have used before they 'redid' their switches in the mid 1990s or something. I have no idea, but it'll be interesting to see, that's for sure. I think the MOD switches are Gateron-based though, but apparently are even more tactile than Zealios switches. I got the MOD-M switches, so it's supposed to be kinda like MX Clear, but more? Lol. Just gotta wait to get the keyboard, anyday now. zzz My only concern I heard about Gaterons is reported inconsistency- sometimes switches aren't quite as consistent across the 'board', hue.

Of course I do! That's the whole reason why I bought it and I type rather properly so it's no issue. But it's actually really cool. The new keyboards actually have RGB now if you want one of the newer switches that supports it, like MX Blue, Red, Nature White, Silver I believe and Black. Clears don't have RGB support from ZF(Cherry). I actually like it, MX Clears aren't honestly that heavy which surprised me. I also may be getting a Tada68 here with MOD-M switches, supposed to be like Clears but even more tactile. I do follow proper typing practices so using the split feature doesn't really bother or impede me. How are the Gaterons though? The MOD switches are somewhat based on those I believe with some different switches.

Oh yeah so I did end up getting that Barocco. It's actually pretty neat, I like the split keyboard design and it's reasonably well built (it should be, considering it's a split Vortex Pok3r basically). It's got the Vortex PBT but it doesn't seem too bad. It's Laser Etched. I got it with the MX Clears of course. It was the last one Mistel had in stock on Amazon in White lol. We need to like have a day where we can have a nice jolly ol' chat I think.

*tactical lol. But yeah, I think it'll be a nice combo, and it'll be an interesting keyboard for sure.

Ooh you got a Topre! I'm still on the fence about getting one, I definitely can but so far I haven't found a favorite yet. I definitely have decided that I'm all about that tactile life, but I think not so much the clicky due to the fact that it annoys the crap out of everyone else as I still have others that I have to live with. What I have decided on though is not really getting anything in a full keyboard layout anymore, TKL or less, or bust. lol. I just ordered a Tada68 though, and it'll have these switches called MOD switches which are just like the Cherry MX Clears, but even more tacticle. I got them in the 55G acutation version. I may also get a Mistel Barocco in MX Clears here though, I like the idea of a splitting keyboard. @_@
