For the Emperor!

I am now in love with this game just like every game they make I played this a while back and I really didn't enjoy it, the learning curve and the fact I am not a huge fan of space games really drove me away from this game, but after playing for a few more hours and learning the ways to play I fell in love just like all the other strategy games Paradox gives us.

The system of building an empire for the bottom all the way to the top competing with culture change from other empires and the vast distance of space that isolate colonies adding in that little amount of chaos that other space games like this just don't give. Furthermore the game gives a great feel the music of the game brought such a feel of immersion, graphically the game is beautiful while still running great only late game did I even notice a small lag going max speed finally the games mechanics such as ethic divergence and happiness is amazing and refreshing the system of happiness is simple like other games but ethic divergence is a great idea it brings a great feel of realism I hope more empire games bring a system like this because through vast distances peoples ideas differ just from the area they live and this game shows that as you try manage a more and more culturally diverse empire whether your own species or some other species.

The game makes you imagine as if this empire of whatever species actually rules vast amounts of people and space with government types and many policies such as accepting other xenos into the empire allowing them to vote in a democratic system or allow a mass purge and enslavement of all xenos in your military empire this adds more replayablity in a game with almost endless replayablity.

The final thing that seals the deal is the great species creator while the choices can be somewhat limited on traits it brings a new stragedy of what will be your species start off thinking and how will they act, along with this to make up for sometimes a lack of traits the appearances of species and their variety of sub species such as color and other choice of species creation has made me waste so much time just imagining my own empires and how they would treat their people and others.

This game in my opinon is one of the best games of all time and hands down the best Strategey game I have ever played it is a bit pricey but it is worth it the only problem is that you need a experenced player to teach you how to play because it has a large learning curve.
