Lots of Things 2 - Travel and Search CE is a casual game that consists of 12 levels that all include 4 puzzles. The main idea of the game is built around searching for hidden objects, but other puzzles add a nice variety to the gameflow. These additional puzzles could be jigsaws, sorting items or finding pairs for instance. The game also has some additional puzzles to solve distinct from the game's main progress line.

I found the game generally entertaining. The game gave a sense of relaxation and it felt like one of those games where you don't notice the time pass. Content wise I found the game enjoyable with its different puzzles. In my opinion the game itself can't be described as easy or hard, but if measuring the difficultiness of the puzzles by used time there were sudden spikes between adjacent ones. The game is certainly suitable for all ages, but the most little ones might need a helping hand along the way.

Sometimes I've noticed a bit of eye strain while playing this kind of games, but this time it didn't happen. The visuals were mostly clipart styled, but still well camouflaged to their surroundings. The audio nor the music weren't anything special, but also they fit well to the background so that they didn't seem irritating. Generally the gameplay was easy as the game was played by only mouse and included short guide texts for new content.

Early Access Review
The story seems like an easy one to get into. As the game progresses the story keeps unraveling and the player gets a better understanding of his or her actions. This also seems like a logical view, because the player has crashed on a planet and solving the mystery what there has happened. Despite the main storyline, there are also side quests that give a chance to gather resources and learn blueprints to eventually evolve your gear.

Graphics are good and I find it refreshnening to play something that hasn't targeted realistic style. Some of the assets and skins, like for guns, seem a bit unpolished. Although the general world appearance has enough variety in my opinion, I felt the enemies quite quickly to start looking repetitive. Nevertheless, the beta stage reported hardware problems seem to be fixed and I can easily play the game with a stable, good fps, on a 5 years old laptop. Somewhere I could have wished an in-game flashlight.

The enemies scaled well at least on normal difficulty and it gave a grasp when it's important to upgrade your weapons and spend your grenades. The side quests involved mini bosses and the main story had the big bosses in reference to the story. The main boss fights were pretty fun and reminded me of some older platform games from consoles. You have to solve they way to inflict damage and use that method in the battle.

Exploration, crafting and gathering were easy concepts to get an idea of. There were some moments that I wasn't exactly sure what to do next, but the log gave short and descriptive answers to my questions. Generally, I felt the game as an easy to get into for a new player: many of the themes were close to many other games and the game itself taught the player the controls and functions among the story progress. This actually gave me some enjoyment and true feeling of learning when finding new ways to use the surroundings could be involved to the meta. Also the movement was AWESOME! Gave me a feeling of Quake engine games with strafe jumping.

PS. The game isn't too serious. Some funny short lines are encountered by your pal! ;)

I've heard before that people call this as a challenging game and by my scale I'll
agree with them. There are quite a lot of rare achievements (less than 10%) and
at least one is called "almost impossible".

I didn't really know what to expect from the game, but after I started to play it
I was happily surprised. Generally, during the first levels I had a feeling like
playing a virtual marble labyrinth.

Somewhere up to level 7, I found the game really enjoyable, but after that there started
to be more frustration than joy. One of the reasons was that there were constant situations
where it was really hard to know to which direction should you go.

On a scale 1-10, I'll give the game 6/10.

The graphics were something different and the game had mechanics that are unusual in most games. Nevertheless, I didn't feel that the game stands for its "hype".
Anyways the game wasn't so long so you can 100% it without a total frustration.

White Lavender is an okay game. I find there to be more positive than negative things.

The game content (for 100% on achievements) lasts a few hours, which isn't bad considering the Price and especially if you get the the game on sale or bundled.

There are some bugs. None of them seem like game breaking or something that game restart wouldn't fix.

If you're going to play the game there are some tricks I suggest learning. A guide for these can be found from the discussion section.

Simmiland is a small scale humanity/evolution/god simulator. The gameplay is generally mostly simple mouse clicking and the graphics and music aren't anything too fancy - good enough in my opinion for a game of this size. (Actually I like the graphics a lot :D)

If you read some of the discussion about the game instructions (how-to-win) those aren't in the game and the player is left alone to solve these. Therefore it helps a lot to read one or two guides written by the community. Then just play and start to use common sense (how to battle freezing; human are starving etc.). Eventually you'll get the hang of it and start to establish a little society.

If the genre interests you, I'll give my recommendation for it and it's -30% (2.79 €) in Steam right now. Got me looking other games made by Sokpop.

This is a game that I got years ago after buying CS Anthology. I was devastated when I noticed that it had for some reason disappeared from my Steam library, but got it again last week.
Great fun on public multiplayer servers, just like meeting an old friend.

My first digital card game. Find it rather enjoyable as a casual player.

Traditional linear shoot 'em up where there's no need to think. Good for relaxing and variation.
