This is one of those games where you're almost certainly going to dislike it at first, the controls take a lot of getting used to and you aren't given clear direction BUT after spending a substantial amount of time with it, taking in the world and learning how to traverse it, you'll see just how special this game is. I haven't played a game that felt this rewarding and engaging in a long time, it really nails that feeling of being a helpless insignificant creature in a brutal environment. You're going to die again and again, It MAY feel unfair at first, but you'll slowly learn how every creature behaves, how the slugcat can use the environment to their advantage, and to map out the safest routes... and it'll just click. Suddenly you're a nomadic survivalist badass skewering lizards on sticks, stealing explosives from scavengers and annihilating them with it, and maybe even taking down vultures and proceeding to wear their fleshy remains as your new kingdom bows to you.

If you have a good degree of patience and can handle getting your ass kicked for a bit I HIGHLY recommend this.
