If you like Portal, you will love this (free) Mod which is more than just a simple Add on!

A spiritual successor to Freelancer packed with things to discover - leveling, mining resources, crafting, customizing and modifying the ship, exploring...there's so much to do.

There would also be an exciting story to experience and many characters to meet.

In short, the game offers a lot, looks beautiful and is simply fun! If you are looking for a single player game in space, in which you want to spend many hours of fun, grab it! The game is worth every penny!

If you liked Freelancer, you can't get around it.

I am really really sorry, but after 500h the Le Guin Update crashed the game for me. It does not make fun at all after this update.

Thx to the new Empire Sprawl it is nearly impossible to expand and conquere. The only thing one is doing now, calculating, and trying t look through economics.

And what the heck did they done to the sectors?

THe only way to fix this for is to downgrade, which means, no more money for new DLC from me. Bad luck Paradox. Fix this update!

This game is what No Mans Sky wants to be! But for less money!! Man, time is running by playing this game! I love it!

After playing 6 hours I want to say: this game is quite fun! (If it gets boring after some time, I will mend this here but since now this is not the case).

This is the first Space Sim which fulfil the name "space" sim. The Univers is hugh, and Stars you are travel at are first small points, growing while getting closer and closer.
Speed feels like speed. Controlling your ship can be a bit tricky, but by using a gamepad (for expample) makes it much easier and it feels realistic.

The only thing I realy miss is a great single player story! Without a real story it could be that the game gets a little bit boring after a while. (6 houres may be not enough to estimate)

However, if you like to travell through space (which feels like traveling thorugh a real univers) and explore , you should risk a look on this game.
