Nerve wracking, but best played in darkened room with Stereo headset, volume way up so you hear around your self. i recommend either playing in a locked room or at least put up sign advising anyone who might come into your playing area to PLEASE don't try to get your attention because if they take your mind off of the game it'll scare the beJesus out of you.
