Generally a good game, shooting feels alright and melee follows a simple basis but is effective. The gameplay is a lot faster paced than that of squad or post scriptum, with smaller maps and more infantry focused combat. Like post scriptum and squad you can deploy emplacements such as machine guns and sandbags, but it also adds in a new emplacement that being the field cannon which can be used as a direct fire weapon, or you can hide it behind cover and use it as an indirect firing weapon, though this requires good communication with other squads and your squad leader.

If you're used to playing games like call of duty and halo, it isn't quite that fast paced, most people are running around with a bolt action rifle as well making quick engagements a little more hectic which require a steady aim and patience, even though there are only 3 maps currently and there are some small connectivity issues, I do recommend this to people who enjoy realistic combat games.

Generally good fun. Fair bit of a learning curve with a majority of infantry weapons only being iron sights rather than scopes which adds to the fun though it can be frustrating with the fact of needing to estimate range to target and adjust for your stamina shake as well as accurately putting rounds into the right spot to bring them down in one shot. Can be difficult when first using armoured vehicles as you have to be able to co-ordinate with a crew of other players unlike most First person shooters where one person controls the tank. When playing for the first time, attempt to stay as a rifleman or a medic, simply due to the fact that they are the simplest classes to use, also avoid mortars unless under instruction (been witness plenty of times to new players attempting to use the mortar's only to decimate a section of friendlies or remove fortification needed to hold a point) If you're looking for a game that's easy to play without needing much concentration then I'd look elsewhere as this game can become quite complex as the match progresses, with one shot almost always downing you it may take some time for you to pick it up properly to play, my advice is to make a group of mates or get some current ones to play allowing you to have silly moments in game relieving that stress of a fire fight or intense shelling from enemy artillery and mortars or the sudden screech of a stuka bomber. Some of the best moments in the game are during these intense fights however, I'm still awe struck at times by just how beautiful this game can be from the calm fields and sky, to the burning wreckage of a blown out tank or a street littered with bodies from a recent fire fight, the sound design is very much up to par with the visual graphics allowing you to estimate the position of an enemy vehicle, alert you to movement in the forest behind you, it will send you scrambling as you hear the siren of a Stuka growing louder (no matter which team you're on this'll happen), you'll duck for cover as a tank shell or hail of bullets whizzes over your head or hits the ground and buildings around you creating an atmosphere hard to describe, it can be hard sometimes to remember you're playing a game not running through the streets of Arnhem in fierce house to house fighting, trying to hold back the waves of American troops as they storm the beach or forcing your way through the french country side. overall If you're looking for a serious game full of idiots making history jokes and singing songs that the units you play as would've sung as well as the super serious people trying to win the game by leading your section and coordinating with other groups to accomplish an objective then I recommend it, even if you're not still give this game a go, as stated above it's not the easiest game to play, but once you have the hang of it, it becomes well worth the time spent getting used to it.

Great game in general, can be a little hard at times when fighting over long ranges and in close quarters if you're not communicating enough. Beautiful game all around very few bugs as to what I've seen.

heap of fun but not easy at the same time. played a heap of the mods that people have created and they just add to the experience.

good game but crafting takes to long and finding certain items takes ages so if you have'nt got patcience then dont play this game
