Early Access Review
This game consumes time like Galactus consumes planets, with an ever present and unstoppable hunger.... Be warned - this will most likely eat you alive if you suffer from OCD Base Building / Management tendencies. The back stories and ongoing development of your colonists is mind blowingly deep. It is freaking awesome though and the modding community and support is just fantastic.

PS. For all the H.P Lovecraft fans, there are also terrific mods out there where you can bring the Old Ones and cosmic horrors right to Rimworld... start a sinister cult they said, build a cyclopean temple they said, Cthulhu fhtagn they said, now I am being sacrificed to He Who Waits Dreaming in R'lyeh...

Awesome 4X RTS. Imagine an entire solar system at war... Fleets of Frigate and Capital class duking it out in the gravity well of a planet... The surface of a planet being scoured with nuclear fire... Solid shot, missiles, lasers, plasma bolts and particle beams zigzagging accross the void of space. This is Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.

A must have if you love space RTS with an excellent selection of balanced races, ships, space and planetary improvements to constuct. Starting out from a single undeveloped planet, you expand and conquer your way through entire solar systems with the help of industry, technology and lots of big ships and guns of course... There are also nice diplomacy features which can really cement and improve your standing amongst the allies you definitely will need to create the foundation of your space empire (remember to keep your friends close, but your enemies closer). I must also fondly mention the Starbase aspect (mostly static super defensive structures) and Titan Class ship (unique super ships) which really turns the late game into quite a battle for domination.

I heartily recommend this game to anyone who wishes to sit for 4 hours playing a game without actually noticing the time going by... because they are having a blast (or too busy watching a planet getting scoured by dozens of nukes (or orbital laser weapons) ;-) )
