In short, Apex Legends demands you live like you’re in a perpetual state of pre-boss fight intensity—which, frankly, feels like you’re playing the game on hard mode while your brain slowly turns into mush. But hey, if you can keep your sanity and maybe land a few headshots in between heart palpitations, you'll probably be decent. Maybe. Just don’t forget the Smarties. You’ll need them.

it’s a high-speed, heart-pounding, brain-melting experience that makes you feel like you need to be a cracked-out gamer bro who’s guzzling 13 Red Bulls and snorting Smarties just to maybe get a win. Seriously, the game doesn’t even let you breathe for more than two seconds before a squad of ultra-aggressive tryhards pops out of nowhere like they’ve been training with NASA to reach new levels of precision. You’re sprinting, sliding, and teleporting like a caffeinated squirrel on roller skates, trying to keep up, but it feels like you need the reflexes of an actual apex predator—except you’re probably playing like a baby giraffe on rollerblades, tumbling over your own feet. The real kicker, though, is when you do manage to get a kill, you feel like you’ve just unlocked a new superpower… right before getting melted by some other dude who’s been living on a diet of pure adrenaline and disappointment.
