Sid Meier's Civilization 5

Sid Meier's Civilization 5 is an overly fun game. When I started to play it was when it came out and I kept hearing people say that it was the worst Civilization game ever made! To be honest its so far from that. Its easy to pick and learn to play but very strategic at its core.

If you have a certain play style for a strategic game Civilization 5 will most likely have culture catering to your style. You can theoretically play the game without even destroying a single enemy. You can play a quick skirmish verus the computer components or an epicly long multiplayer match with your friends.


Best part about the multiplayer aspect is that you don't have to all play at the same time. You can take your turn and it will notify the player that is next in line to take their turn. Which is great if you and your friends have a busy schedule but still want to play together.

There is alot to love about Civilization 5 if you are a turn-based strategy person.

I love this program, its awesome for getting in touch towards your creative side. Story, design, etc this gives ideas on how to do it and it is so easy to import you own tilesets, music and other things into the program. Not only is this simple to use it is very powerful, if you take a look at Y's Chronicles I & II you will have at least an Idea of what you can do with this program. I really recemmend this program for those of you who are even if you are even the slightest bit interested in learning how to make a basic game.
