I played this game with my boo. Every level was different and fun in its own way. A good and fun story, that made my boo cry sometimes. Also, she sucks at jumping, so the game was quite long. But we had fun. We recommend this game, for people with hands.

With love

A bunch of tedious fetch quests. Get x10 of this, find water in a mine, find silver in a mine, gather 3 that. And you have to finish it before you can continue the main story. Frustratingly annoying DLC.

Early Access Review
Wish there was a neutral option. The game is decent. I love the idea and atmosphere. But at this stage its very barren and unfinished. Not so challenging as is missing in key areas. I know its early access so it will probably all change. I knew going in the game would probably feel half-baked, which it is. But I was still happy to support this small developer on their ambitious journey. Just hope some of all the money they are making will translate direcetly into improving the game

Its a decent game, but I got too bored to finish it. Combat is super simple, story is decent but every cutscene is 50 hours long and I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ what 80% of the NPC's have to say. Geralt is an alright protagonist, but I dislike the lack of character creation. A simple one, like Shepard in Mass Effect, would have gone a long way to make the game feel more like your adventure. It's annoying Steam dont have a rating system, but I suppose I would give it a 6/10. Recommended for people who really like the Witcher universe, and a pass for people who are not really invested in the universe.

This is a shameful DLC. Almost no content at all. Shame on you Paradox

There are some seizable improvements in terms of playability compared to the earlier titles, yet the game seems incredibly arcady and shallow. There is no significant difference between playing christian, muslim, african, asian etc. Only thing that feels a little different is the vikings, but that is only on the surface. The game is also way too easy, as your personal eugenics program can be done in no time. There is little reason to marry for alliances over genetics which is a shame.

There are many more pros and cons, but all in all its 6/10 game in desperate need of an overhaul or content that makes playthroughs unique and fun like in the older title.

This is the best game since Witcher 3, and now in my top 10 games of all time. Larian has overdelivered on every parameter. Great graphics, great combat, great choices, amazing dialogue and immersion, wanton brutality and violence, character development, nudity and choices. All boxes that make a great RPG is checked.
I came in with buckets of scepticism as a jaded gamer burnt by AAA developers for the last 20 years, and I have been blown away by this game. Absolutely amazing.

Chaos dwarves are well done, although some things have been skipped (hashut corruption, unique bonus for Astrogoth tower buidling etc.). I wouldn't even mind the pricetag that some people complain about, if patch 3.0 didn't include so many crashes, bugs and so low performance. The stuttering now is unbearable and only gets worse as the game progresses. Also, a small note, but something that zaps my enjoyment is that Chaos Dwarf autoresolve is heavily skewed to CD's benefit. Many times your autoresolve with Chorfs is better than you can do yourself. I have no idea how CA dares to release a patch and DLC in such a state, and that they almost a month later haven't even addressed the skill panel crash issue. Shame on you CA.

I find the game quite boring, with clunky controls, and I hate that you have to get the s**t rockstar launcher to play it. I don't understand the hype and accolades this game received.
