I have been waiting to post a review for this game until i had given it quite an extensive playthrough since its EA (since 2017)

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE!
There are waay better games like this out there!

This has been the biggest dissapointment in over 25years of gaming for me.
I have played many Early Acces games, ive seen many awesome projects evolve and even helped in testing them.
Valnir Rok however stands out above all in being dissapointing, and i will try to explain in a couple of points and clarify them.


First of all The game is just broken to the point of being a dead grind.
wich leads to the price: 20€ for a broken EA? what are u thinking?
Quests are bugged in various ways going from just sending u to an empty space of map, to requesting for items or abilites wich have been removed from game.
Important areas to get materials, like the silver mine are broken to point of teleporting you outside.
Randomly getting kicked from clan.
AI that is actually too sad to mention.
the looting in this game is messed up, boss mobs drop less valuable stuff than whats just lying around.
the list of bugs and just broken things just goes on...

This would not be a problem ofc since this is EA, HOWEVER, 85% of the bugs still in game today have been listed as fixed on the steam log! wich is purely deceiving people.
I have tried to get an answer on discord as to why the bugs that are listed as fixed are still ingame.
This is where i encountered a bigger dissapointment than the actual game itself.

The "staff" is just downright rude. all attempts by me or friends to report bugs or even contact them were ignored for days
and when to our suprise someone finally replied, it was nothing more than an excuse on how there is 5! devs on the team so progress was slow, and even a comment on how it was selfish of us to expect more.
theres been more toxic situations on their discord than actual players ingame. and not just me, friends have been rudely treated in their discord aswell.

after months of waiting without any communication from the devs it finally dropped! an update!
apparently instead of fixing any of the bugs, they added a boss, wich was ofc broken too.
even better they removed a profession but didnt think to remove the locks it put on craftng,
breaking even more of the game.
This can ofc be fixed, but again we are over a month later and still no information other than:
it is a small 5man dev team progress is slow.


This game is exactly what is wrong with the EA system and should be scrapped from sale untill they actualy present a playable game.
