Been with TW since Rome 1 roughly 20 years ago. Just like with any Big Corporation's the soul has left the company and you can feel it in recent games, and you can see CA is focused more on profit returns per player, rather than player enjoyment and innovation (rather than just pretty graphics or new cool monsters WOWOWOW).

The last DLC for W 3 shows this (SOC), which i refused to purchase as the price doesn't reflect the content it should offer for the price mark. It doesn't innovate with new mechanics or make the game more indepth it simply reuses same mechanics for DLC factions that make them stronger than the baseline W3 Factions to urge DLC purchases.

In my opinion TW Games can only truly be enjoyed after the community fixes their games with countless of mods which are free. Having Mod's that offer more content and depth than paid DLC's. I will only buy DLC if they are worth for new mechanics or improvement to the game (which the existing mods can improve upon).

This series has been stagnating for the last 10 or so years in terms of Innovation and player engagement. (Why did we lose population in Campaign?, Why have we lost visual unit upgrades?, Why have we lost free build in cities and moved onto this 4 grid building on Campaign?, Banners?).

I've uninstalled W3 as a 100 Gig game that is about as deep as a puddle is a waste of space on my drive. Unlike EU4 with MEIOU AND TAXES MOD which I spent countless of hours enjoying and still do.

I am no longer purchasing any TW Games or DLCs unless they justify the content and deepen the perspective of the Games.
