I'm still trying to find my footing in Total War: Warhammer. I've followed every total war game since Medieval and this one is certainly the most unique being that it's based in a fantasy world. I admire the game for it's unique factions and various details in both the campaign map and the battle map. However, I have to warn you, this is not your typical total war game. Those that are lovers of the series due to the historical context may not appreciate the appeal. I also have a personal gripe with the Chaos Faction. If you recall crusades and jihads in medieval total war, the Chaos faction is a version of that, beware! This faction seems much too overpowered and hijacks the rest of the game for many. They have the ability to conquer faction after faction until you're one of the few left. There are mods to get around this issue, but it is intended to be part of the game? Perhaps I'm just not ahead of the curve in this game! Overall I'd recommend giving it a shot. It's a beautiful game and will certainly appeal to fans of the Warhammer franchise.
