I want to like this game but I can't.
It's horrible on so many levels I don't even know where to begin.
Avoid like a plague.

Somewhere among the bugs and crashes is a fun game with interesting mechanics and well written world.

It looks nice and is well optimised but seems really shallow, just another arcade slasher.
Also: 4vs4 is the maximum number of players? Sounds like a joke. I was expecting mass pvp, sieges, epic battles.
But it looks like just another moba with even less players.
For this price tag (60 euro) it's absurd.

This game is excellent !

Pros:
- legit W40K title like we all wanted
- feels like a tabletop
- you can build up your own roster
- units gather experience and level up
- no cookie cutter "spam the best unit" builds (Armageddon dreadnought spam anyone? ;P)
- brings back Final Liberation memories
- Space Wolves !
- handy UI
- looks good
- it's challenging
- it's fun

Cons:
- figuring line of sight is sometimes difficult, especially in forest areas
- cover system is unintuitive (I've got no idea at what angle im still protected by cover against flankers)
- too little background story
- shooting feels more deadly than close combat (shouldn't be the other way around?)
- some balance issues (Blood Claw Packs and Meltagun Packs seems underpowered and Battlewagon seems extremely op)
- camera issues during AI turn (camera does not center on your units when they are under artillery fire)
- camera issues when action happens in the corners of the map (hard to rotate the camera and target units)

And easily 10 out of 10 when they polish it and add more factions.

Concept is neat and it's pretty too. Nice music as well. Crafting is okay I guess.
Locations are a bit empty and too similar too each other but I could live with that.
Main problem is that the game is bogged down by a horrendously made raft mechanics.
Steering it requires lightining reflexes and controls feel very clunky. Since you spend most of your time on the raft it is kind of a big deal.
I thought that was supposed to be a survival game not a quick time event/dodge all the rocks in the river/arcade fest?
I guess I was wrong.

Yup, the hype is real. Storyline, audio, graphics, gameplay, UI - everything is top notch.
Buy this great game and support good devs.
Highly reccomend.

(Single Player)
No speed adjustment, no active pause, no manual saving (game autosaves on one slot !!!1111).
Please patch this and add options that are already in Red Dragon and it will be amazing 9+/10 game easily.
Right now it's a no-go.

It's great
