I enjoyed it a lot, although Napoleonic Era is admittedly my least favourite military period. It's good on strategic level but really shines on tactical (battles) level.
It can be challenging but is never unfair. Battles can change rapidly from "I've got this" to "Now I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥" and back to "I've got this" in a minutes. I recommend playing it on hard or at least normal level on "ironman" (I've played "Into Russia" on hard and managed it at first try, although I got lucky a number of times). I also recommend reading a manual (at least part about battles, as it is important to know the modifiers behind the rolls). It's a bit shame that you can't play as England here, but it makes sense from the gameplay asymmetry perspective. Interface is allright, graphics & music too, no bugs experienced. Thumb up.

It's a fun little game. After initial bad experiences with Nuts!: The Battle of the Bulge (so buggy that it's unplayable) and Battle of Tallarn (plain bad) this one is a pleasant suprise.

Pros:
- should appeal to people that like boardgames, card games and 2WW (preferably all of the mentioned)
- I haven't encountered any bugs
- it's fun
- you can play it during a long coffe break
- it's pretty and supports resolutions above 1080p
- interface is allright

Cons:
- price is a little steep for such a small game
- if you're not going to play multi, there is about 3 hours of single player content to max it out
- it's a bit too luck dependant cause drawing bad cards on initial hand can cost you a game
- cards could use a bigger variety

It's so riddled with bugs that it's literally unplayable.

Cool game

Potentially great game bogged down with terrible mechanic choices. Game is in real time and the quests have time limits. Natural habit is to try to complete quests as fast and effective as one could, but this game requires stalling quests as long as possible to progress to the certain game events later. It is impossible to know it beforehand though, so either you savescum like crazy or you play the mechanics not the game itself and just cheese your way out of it. It's a great shame cause this game have a potential to be better version of papers please, just the weird time management choices forcing you to replay certain sequences in search for perfect activities rotation killed it for me.

Pros:
- lots of single player content ( 3 large campaigns )
- 3 stages of war concept is very neat
- story missions are fun and clearly different from each other
- air combat is a real eye candy
- ccg elements & unit unlocks
- leveling units & commanders
- tech trees
- art & graphics

Cons:
- loading times
- game can ocassionally start stuttering for no reason
- infantry seems really underpowered

Last chapter of the game is riddled with bugs. Some of them, such as disappearing items, can prevent you from finishing the game.
There are also terrible plot holes and inconsistencies to the point that the whole story does not make any sense.
After finishing the game I can say I am sorely disappointed.
If you want to play a good detective game do yourself a favor and buy Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishement.
