It's good and oh so pretty.

I freakin love it

It's good

Pros:
- lots of single player content ( 3 large campaigns )
- 3 stages of war concept is very neat
- story missions are fun and clearly different from each other
- air combat is a real eye candy
- ccg elements & unit unlocks
- leveling units & commanders
- tech trees
- art & graphics

♥♥♥♥:
- loading times
- game can ocassionally start stuttering for no reason
- infantry seems really underpowered

Last chapter of the game is riddled with bugs. Some of them, such as disappearing items, can prevent you from finishing the game.
There are also terrible plot holes and inconsistencies to the point that the whole story does not make any sense.
After finishing the game I can say I am sorely disappointed.
If you want to play a good detective game do yourself a favor and buy Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishement.

Charming little game

Multiplayer experience :

Perhaps it's great when it works, can't tell.

Single player experience:
Utterly dissapointing. 3 "campaigns" 4 missions each. As I play Allies only I substract 4 German missions, so it gives me 8 missions total. Doesn't matter cause I gave up on them already. They are just glorified skirmishes with some secondary objectives. Micromanagement hell in its prime.

Overall:
I was expecting another great Wargame in a different setting. Sadly it's a different game, much much worse then its predecessors.
And why the graphics are so ugly when Red Dragon was such an eye candy?

I've expected solid squad building tactical game and got easily one of the best RPG's I've played in my over 20 years gaming career. I'm simply amazed how good is this game. Art-style, atmosphere, mechanics, storyline, quests - everything is so old school in a best possible way. They even made NPC that you actually care about. It's one of the games that kills your inner power-gamer and makes you roleplay, recruit the people that you like instead of the ones you need to beef your dps charts even more and resolve the quest in a most satisfying manner instead of taking economical (xp/gold/items) gain approach . If someone will tell you "They won't make games like in the old times anymore" slap him in the face and give him this game.

I can't praise it high enough. 10/10

Mix of CCG with World of Tanks progression system. Despite being real time, strategy wins here - not reflexes. Game sessions are short but intensive. Very enjoyable game.

I'm not a huge fan of zombie genre but I really do like this game. It's more a dungeon crawler rpg than your-avarage-zombie-shooter. It's a bit similar to Darkest Dungeon.
