Easily the best game of its type and a shining example of how to do a live service game correctly. Game play is rewarding and the “premium” content (war bonds) can be reasonably achieved by earning the currency in game without having to pay for it . Regular updates and balance tweaks keep the game fresh. In my experience its best played with friends though you can play with randoms but the team coordination can sometimes be lacking in that case. Would highly recommend especially now Sony isn't actively trying to kill the game.

I played this some time ago on mobile. I stopped playing it beaus of the CONSTANT adds. But you expect that from a mobile game. I just noticed it on steam and though I would give it a shot. Visually it looks pretty good. Game play is quite fun but lacks any real re-playability. HOWEVER This version is just as a bad if not worse than the mobile version for adds. Every time you switch it on you will be buffeted by at least 3 adds boasting LIMATED TIME OFFER bla bla bla. After almost every mission you will get the same. If you click on your armoury you will some times get the same. To the point where you spend almost as much time closing add pop ups as you do playing the game. This game has its negatives like any game. The two most prominent are that if you have less that 10gb of RAM don't waist your time trying to play on a map with more than 2 planets. The other is that there isn't enough of a difference between this and its predecessor to call in a stand alone game more of a DLC really.

That said this game is fun, allot of fun. its satisfying to send a moon careening into a planet. The sense of scale is awesome. I can see why it wouldn't be every ones cup of tea but I for one really like the aesthetic.

The game looks awesome and plays surprisingly well, as usual with this sort of game though the other players spoil it. I spawned and completed the tutorial area at the start. some nice guy randomly doped a gun at my feet so i decided to set off into the world to do a spot of exploring. some time later i discovered another player who I waved at and was promptly shot in the face for my troubles. after re spawning i left the safe zone to see if I could go and collect my gear and was shot immediately after the invincibility timer had depleted. so I would love to do a game review for this but unfortunately I cant play it long enough to get an actual grasp on the game itself.

Realy enjoye this game but if you are not use to this sort of game, as i was prior to getting it the lurnig cuve can be a little frustrating. first 3 or fore atemts the whole populaton of my town perished for as far as i could tell no good reason :P turn out i just suked as it. certanly worth getting if you like town management sims.
