Undoubtedly one of the best games you will play in the genre. Even better than Stardew and co in my opinion. Every aspect from crafting, combat, to exploration feels extremely well-balanced and paced for progression. Games like these put AAA games to real shame. Give it a go if you're interested you will not regret it!

Early Access Review
As a person that loves flitting from game to game and loves survival/crafty games like 7dtd I was disappointed with the unfinished and inadequate nature of DeadPoly.

There is nothing to do in the game really, you can drive round in the first hour and pick up all you would ever need to kill everything in the game with comfort. Combined with an amateur inventory system with no sort feature, illogical sizing (1 paper takes up the same space as a car battery), same type of item when transferred to a cache with that existing item doesn't automatically stack so you have to either drag and drop an ammo type on top of the same ammo type in the other contained to get them to stack. There is nothing happening with the buildings, just empty buildings with items in the middle of them, terrain is dull and has no purpose. No meaningful crafting/progression system at all. Yeah feels like an asset pack cash grab.

TLDR: game is not worth more than $5 imho with the content it has and even if I'd have paid $5 I would have been underwhelmed. Would have refunded after 20 mins but was outside the 2 week window on Steam.

Love the gameplay of this game but the inability to consistently play the damn game without getting a disconnection is making the experience terrible. Seeing DLC/Endgame content coming out before the core game is at least somewhat playable is frustrating me endlessly. I took a couple months out of the game to see if it would have changed but it has not. YET.
