I can safely say this is the best total war game ive ever played (Yes even better than Shogun), though im heavily biased as i love the Warhammer setting and lore.

The base game is not for me as it doesnt feel quite right, so i play it heavily modded (most of the mods on the workshop are fantastic and as long as you dont go too mad, are very balanced, if not more in the AIs favour).

I always find myself coming back to this every month or so to do a campaign as a race i fancy at the time.

If its on sale its a no brainer, as total war games are one of the main reasons to have a PC for gaming, and this is a fantastic example.
