Roaming the wasteland takes time, producing goods takes time, leveling takes time, fights take time, building is instant... the ♥♥♥♥ Bethesda?

This game is ♥♥♥♥. You can bypass the microtransactions with a save editor and give yourself what you want/need to speed everything up.

It's made with Unity, so you can mod it how you want.

They stopped developing it, because it wasn't the cash cow they had hoped.

It's full of stupid mechanics that only a retarded Bethseda employee could ever love.

Why do I play it? Because I fixed some issues. Should I work for Bethesda? Nope, because I don't believe in releasing ♥♥♥♥ products that require the community to fix, then keep the pricing the same for years to come because it's "supported" by random patches for a dumbass community market hellhole that ♥♥♥♥♥ other community work over. Anyway, I digress...

Good job Bethesda, you continue to release ♥♥♥♥, but I'll never pay for your ♥♥♥♥, so ♥♥♥♥ on that ♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game, however I can't recommend it due to the following reasons.

It has a lot of bugs, they've fixed a lot of the crashes people on potatoes have been experiencing, because they cry the most, very few core features were fixed.

Better than Stellaris.
"But Stellaris is an RTS".
Better than Stellaris, and less bugs. The engine won't ♥♥♥♥ itself.

As Amazon, you can equip each unit with an AoE regen cloud, making them nearly impossible to kill when they horde up, since bombing them, setting them all on fire and other mass explosions on the horde won't do anything against their regen capability.

Simultaneous turns, aren't. Once an AI starts moving armies, you cannot move yours until of their armies are moved.

It appears research gets bugged and won't let me finish the last one in Military. (causing a never ending demand from the HUD to SET MILITARY RESEARCH) and the ever annoying END TURN - Are you sure you want to end your turn? You still have some unfinished to-do events available. Sure you can click it to never ask again, however, if you miss click, this is the only saving feature.

Funny thing, you have your cities to produce energy infinity, but the stupid HUD tells you that they need you to "Set Production: (Insert City Name) causing nothing but tedious clicks.

Race leaders have default genders. Amazon race has only females.

There are high res textures and low res textures, often side by side.

Only one type of cape flaps in the wind, the others are static pieces of concrete.
Armor pieces on your commander cannot be colored.

Max stack size of an army is 6.

The AI does not appear to be affected by power upkeep for units, resulting in them having more powerful units.

Maps are fairly small with tons of dead space (read uninhabitable, not interactable, just a massive obstacle).

Campaign mode is like a typical RTS game, research, build, conquer then off to the next map to do it all over again.

The map is odd in that you can scroll endlessly (like a cylinder) so you can see two quest markers on both edges of the displayed map, causing it to look larger than it is, but it is a wrap around.

Sectors filled with massive mountains and oceans between other ocean sectors... you can't colonize or build an outpost on them or annex them. Which is weird considering the technology in the game... Guess it's time to tell all the mountain dwellers past, present and future they can't live in the mountains no more.

One city can only handle 5 sectors, including the one it is on.

There is a bug where your screen will scroll in tactical combat, which requires you to press WASD keys to counteract the endless scrolling just so you can select your units and give orders with your mouse, and of course, see what you are doing.

Custom maps don't have a save setting, so every time you start a new map, you have to start from scratch, the planet's name is randomized. You cannot preview the maps. It would also be nice to set your preference of sector type to land and which sector borders it. You're in a ship and you land, why can't you select the terrain in which you land?

After changing the city name, some notifications refer to the default name of a colony, which can be quite confusing if you have multiple cities.

Selecting pickups to none in the scenario editor, still enables pickups.
Selecting settlements to none in the scenario editor, still enables settlements.

On scenario maps, the mountains that are uninhabitable are still present on the map even when you turn the mountain terrain to 0. Actually all terrain does this. They are still present.

It is impossible to create a planet that has only one or two features, so creating Endor is impossible.

Combat utilizes cover and each "unit" within a squad can fire (3 shots per Vanguard Unit, up to 18 shots per army stack of six of this unit).

Some of the tutorial repeats itself, and there's one step of claiming territory it doesn't cover properly. If it does, I must have missed it with the rest of the ramblings of the game, with a full dialog of text, but only half of it is actually voiced.

It appears only two voice actors worked on this, oh wait, there's more later on in the research trees. But they do repeat.

Music is lovely.

Customizing a hero is a pain in the arse, the top commander cannot be deleted, changing the gender (if it's not an Amazon) will result in the name changing (if you go back to edit it) causing you to save a new type of commander on top of the old one (new name and all).

Diplomacy isn't completely one sided unless it's a random NPC on the map, then it gets ridiculous.

Overall I'd recommend waiting for a sale, or they add more factions/leader options.

Fun little game involving smashing of planets/stars and creating systems. Smashing too many things on planets will cause them to die out, but smashing them is also how they start.

Being a black hole is fun, but it's short lived.

2 hours in and all you do is read/talk/interact with people you want to kill for talking too long.

It takes a few moments for abilities to trigger, often times miss-firing or just lagging behind key presses so it can make noise first. Sometimes they don't even work at all, requiring you to button mash until it does work.

You cannot aim above your head, despite flying enemies above you shooting you. You also can't shoot below you. For some odd reasons.

The AI is bad, very bad and the devs should feel bad... gets lost or just stands still in the distance. If it's not doing either of those, it's tumbling around like a chicken with it's head cut-off.

Watching the AI try to revive you is like watching a dog trying to walk passed a cat.

The game makes up for the bad AI by allowing you to have three total bad AI, so at least one of them will function properly. Unless of course, you're surrounded, then they just tumble, roll, die, scream, scream, roll, tumble, scream, die.

Unique enemies will run insanely fast and despawn after a certain range outside of their normal spawn area, causing you to lose all damage against them, since they now respawn at full health. Makes you wonder why you're given ranged weapons when you can't kite.

Interestingly when you are fighting other "players", they are completely ignored by the monster AI, and completely ignore them. So they can all team up on you, making it appear less likea living world and more of a player vs everything fest with no factions, despite the game narration.

It's not as fun as the first, it relies heavily on dumb mechanics to open doors, jump scares and a ton more enemies than the first making it repetitive and boring.

The UI is horrendous, the AI is atrocious.

What game in the series is this?

Do they literally start a new engine every time they release a Total War game?

The UI lacks all information.

For being turn based, you can't cancel a move command.

Right click to find out info, but right click is also move order.

The AI can't handle complex situations, so think opposite of what it always does and you'll never fail.

My advisors told me it would be a Pyrrhic Victory, I took command and I lost 14 people, turning it into a Decisive Victory. Why is the AI so bad?

In multiplayer campaign everyone has to click okay/spectate/battle or whatever every time there is a combat action.

We're starting the battle! Okay, click appropriate action (spectate, let AI crap it out, etc). Action chosen, now click continue. Okay, clicked continue. Click claim victory when you win the battle, then click another confirmation button after claiming victory. Load screen. EVERYONE must click continue to continue or let the timer run out. Okay, now click another button to watch a minor graphic and another click of continue to confrim that you confirmed that you acknowledged that you claimed victory.

Now when on the campaign map, the camera follows whatever action is taking place. The person that is in turn at the moment clicks a city to see the seige status, EVERYONES camera moves to that location, whether or not you can see it.

When it's the AIs turn, your screen greys out a bit, cool, as it should be.

HOWEVER, when it's the other player's turn, your screen brightens up, but doesn't notify you directly other than an icon at the top of who's turn it is, (including when it's yours). But you can't interact with anything other than events and treasury. Why even allow it to brighten when you can't do anything anyway?

As far as the UI it just doesn't give you enough information in one spot, you have to click around and look around. Making it clunky at best, a nightmare at worst.

Seriously lacking information, even when you look in your court you still have no idea who joined most of the time.

A literal take on the tower defense genre, the ability to choose your battles and upgrade things before the campaign tells you to are all bonuses.

You can swap turrets from one side to the other by moving them into the middle, reload ammo is done the same way. Allowing for some intense moments.

There are also super weapons you can get along the way that drastically improve your damage output.

It's good for half off. You have to make regular sacrifices to keep your spirit bar from hitting empty causing a -10 unhappy penalty. Sacrifice one of your clan members for a +2 to the bar, or a thrall for a +3. The gauge empties fairly quickly.

The Dragonkin is really weak and can be overrun by neutral enemies. It is your only military unit aside from the warchief, which isn't available at start due to cost.

You can purchase two thralls at a time, with the cost increasing by 40 gold each time you buy them. The cost goes down by 2 gold per month. IT shows why people feel that this is a trading clan, because you need gold for thralls.

You have one military unit per territory cap, IF, you purchase the needed building on each territory you own.

Better than the Kingdom series due to the fact you can place buildings where you want them to go, and you can move individuals to locations where you want them to work/fight/build.

Getting specific villagers that are better at things than others is completely RNG, which sucks but also makes you feel better when you get individuals that excel at any given task.

The game has a mini-map so you can move around the map fast, unlike the Kingdom series where you have to spend time side scrolling.
