I've been waiting for this to arrive on steam since i heard about it a few months ago.

It's remarkable visual aesthetic and otherworldly presentation does not (in my opinion) rescue LIMBO from being way, way, WAAAAAAAAAY too short for the full price tag. I want to see alot more of this, i really do, but can we *please* knock about 50% off the price? I blew through this in a couple of hours for goodness sake, and i'm really not fussed about finding the hidden collectables so i doubt i'll be going back. For £2, maybe £3 i could recommend it..... but not at £7. Please don't misunderstand: this is a game that is absolutely worth experiencing just for the 'feel 'of the whole thing, and the questions that aren't really answered, but wait for a silly sale.

A wonderful indie dungeon crawler with a quirky sense of humour and a well crafted "Easy to pick up but tricky to master" skill system. Highly recommended for both newbies and veterans alike! The game is best summarised by one of the tutorial messages which reads:

"You are encouraged to learn by experimenting, dying and then starting a new game"

My only gripe is that changing your gear has no effect on your character model.

For me, the greatest installment in the Fallout Franchise by a wide, wide margin. The DLC included here just makes an already fantastic game stupidly good value for the GotY edition.

The voice acting is superb, the game-world is vast and atmospheric, the music is glorious, the skills system is intuitive and the perks system allows you to really create a personally rewarding character.

If you havent tried this yet, then rectify that as soon as possible - you are missing out on an icredible FPS/RPG gaming experience that absolutely should not be missed.

A charming little search-quest game with a wonderful musical score and incredible hand-drawn artwork throughout. It won't take you more than 4 hours or so to get through, but they will be mellow hours indeed :)

One of the most inventive, intelligent and genuinely FUNNY games i have ever played - it's style is so unique and quirky that i couldn't help but keep playing, even on the rare occasions i was temporarily frustrated by a puzzle. I really cannot recommend this title enough - it's part of that rare class of games : The ones that remind us WHY WE PLAY GAMES.
The characters are varied, wonderfully voice acted and animated, with every one of them having something interesting or funny to say to you.

If you are looking for something a little off-the-wall and utterly unique, this is a damn fine place to start.

Wonderfully written and quirky point & click adventure games, made by some guys who clearly have a lot of love for the genre. Plenty of in-jokes and one-liners for those who are paying attention, and a fun set of puzzles to solve along the way. Recommended!

Superb defensive strategy game, featuring EPIC lasers! Great replayability, variable difficulty, ranging from INSANELY hard to pretty much practice. A great little indie game and highly recommended.

A truly inspiring puzzle game unlike any other. The undeniable charm and distinctive art style present throughout really helps to cement what would otherwise be a very odd and slightly schizophrenic selection of physics/logic puzzles. This is one of those gaming experiences that you just HAVE to try!

Hugely entertaining and involving sandbox construction/mining/dungeon exploring 2D Retro goodness. Pleasingly complex and varied construction tree; from wooden benches to laser weaponry and most things in between!

If you really want to get the most from this i'd recommend that you initially resist the temptation to just look up a wiki and instead rely on experimentation to make progress and find cool stuff.

Multiplayer (at time of writing) still has a few kinks to work out, but is a huge amount of fun! [The game is ripe for griefing - only play with trusted friends!]

Solid WWII FPS with a nice gimmick - YOU decide where to drop in on the action and then take the fight from there. Really helps to demonstrate the tactical benefits (and hazards) of the Airborne as afighting force. Not without it's problems; in particular how obvious it is that no-one but you seems capable of even the simplest task.

For a well polished FPS you could do a damn sight worse.

Buy when cheap / need a timefiller for a day or two.
