I purchased this game because I love turn based strategy games, particularly xcom. On Neogaf I saw some praise in a strategy recommendation thread, now here I am............

Best decision I have made in a long while.

Totallly took me by surprise, played it for about 8 straight hours last night. The tactical gameplay is fantastic, throwing unique situations to you every time you play. It teaches you more every time you play and especially when you keep dying. I couldnt put it down all night and am already thinking of my next session.

If you like turn based strategy this game is highly recommmended. It's a unique fresh twist on squad based tactical gameplay successfully mixing strategy, stealth an roguelike qualities all in a dellightfully well polished package.

The perfect game to pick up and play for 2-3 hours a session. Constantly keeps the mind occupied and has its own charm. It is quite challenging too, playing on 3 rewinds setting so far and only made it I think through about 3/4 of the missions before succumbing to my own mistakes, learning from them and starting again straight away.

It's that addictve......

For its price, it is a steal. Very very impressed. Bring on the DLC!

The greatest turn based tactical game of all time, loved the original games and love this even more. Quitessential, challenging and featuring a highly customiseable experience from insanely challenging to as easy as you want, but easy is not the point of Xcom. I recommend classic ironman difficulty for a well rounded rewarding experience, if you are good enough there's always The Long War mod.

Amazing. Enemy Within expansion just makes it even better, can' wait for Xcom 2 this year. Kudos.
