I'm about half way into the game and I can see its potential was just not met. Either Atlus didn't want to invest in it to unlock its hidden potential or for whatever reason they just wanted it to be passable but not incredible. And this should have been incredible. But its only passable by a margin. Its not a bad game but whatever reason Atlus wanted to push it out and not give it at least another 4 months in the oven that it needed. Its just a shallow game. I dont hate it, but I'm disappointed Atlus couldnt give it the push it needed. Id say get this game if its about £15, nothing more. Something to tie you down if your waiting for something big.

+ Character design - Ringo, Milady, Ash and Figue are banging
+ Eng/♥♥♥ voice cast - Both Eng & ♥♥♥ voice casting is good
+ Music - some good and some dull tracks (ideally mod some music in to keep it fresh)
+ Lots of Demons and good variety

- Bad dungeon design, no character, no life just narrow hallways and box rooms
- Nothing in between the fighting, just poor social activities like drinking at a bar, no sight seeing, just characters droning on about...nothing
- DLC outfits are pointless. A mod is available to enable outfits outside of battle and during cutscenes but because its not officially supposed to happen you get legs clipping through skirts or skirts/scarfs being stretched out
- Animations were locked at 60fps so needed a mod to bypass the lock

Its a pretty looking game as well. Just a shame it never realised its potential. Atlus just half-assed this one

I never played the original P3 or its remaster but I wish I did especially after playing P4-G few years ago. P3 has always been considered the best one and is what P4 isnt and vice versa. So far Iv enjoyed my experience and now Im nearing the end which is somewhat saddening because you genuinely connect with the characters and you feel as though they are actually your friends in real life. On a rarity you will sometimes find yourself crying with these characters because you feel or relate to their struggles and challenges. And once I complete it, its over.

+Amazing OST
+ Great graphics, easy to run, and great art style and UI
+ Well written characters and social links
+ Well made animation and video footage
+ Hanging out with friends, romance options

- Games just too easy most of the time

Been a Tekken follower since T2. Aside from Tekken 4, Tekken Wii, Tekken Advance, I've pretty much played them all.

I'll start by saying I love T8, I love the detail, the animation and how big the stages are especially the amount of detail you see on a free camera mod.

But after 100hrs I'm officially burnt out from it and its starting to become a bit of a community full of vile posers and pluggers. I'm quite high in rank, I'm a Fujin with Jack-8 and a Shinyru with Lili. Theres been a lot of good fights have had with people but then there's also the ones that ruin it by using rush-down methods or using mad Korean dashing, I simply cant do that because I'm just using an X-1 controller and dont want to damage my d-pad. Theres the posing that constantly pose you and bait you to get angry or troll it once they beat you.

I nearly KO someone and they pull out the match at the last second. I'm facing against a Tekken God with 7 wins in his corner and he disconnects from the match. My next match I get demoted. And its getting frustrating because I dont want to be like them and plug out.

I think the upcoming Eddy DLC will really ignite the community and not in a good way. I dont know if its because I'm an old school tekken player or I'm just getting burnt out. I've put a 100hrs into it now, Iv got my moneys worth. I'm pulling out before the online community gets more tense. If I ever go back to it (maybe late this year or next) there will be no doubt more changes, DLC characters but I've got this small feeling everyone will be a plugger.

Its becoming more competitive tension than just having fun. When I'm facing against my cousin we just chill, sometimes we observe the detail of the stages as we chat on Discord. Then we just have fun, we're not playing to win, just having casual matches, sometimes we will turn it up a notch and go hardcore. But with others, others you dont know, if they are beating you they will still beat you to a frenzy despite getting KO'd, then they pose, they shove it in your face, you try beat them and they disconnect. Its becoming more and more frequent compared to last month especially in higher rank.

Also the customization is lacking and a bit fiddly to use, I've made a lot of decent looking Jack and Lili appearances but I think compared to Tekken 5, 6 and Tag 2 its lacking. But thats where the paywalls will start to come and of course this battle pass.

Its been fun, but I can start to feel the atmosphere change. I'm pulling out for a few months, maybe a year.

I just hope its not going to be just as bad when I return......

Bought this years ago when I was quite crazy for Dynasty Warriors action. The story does look interesting and the character design is pretty good but the gameplay is just awful.

Despite being an old game this struggles to run on modern systems, poor optimisation, it wont even hit 60fps at 4K.

The controls and combos are extremely repetitive too. Tried getting into it, gave it another chance and still no change in how I feel about it. Bad game IMHO

This game is such a spark of joy. It draws you in within the first 10 minutes and I can see why it had such positive feedback. The ideas feel so fresh. Its like Devil May Cry and Futurama combined with a bit of REZ to it. Not even completed it yet but it was going to get a positive review regardless so may as well do it now. Every penny feels worth it. Glad it was part of the sale allowing me to give it a chance.

+ Characters, World, Enemies all nicely made and feel diverse among one and other
+ The music and how it connects with the gameplay and the world around you
+ Graphics are a mix of Western comic and cartoon with a hint of Japanese anime
+ The cinematic scenes make it feel like a big budget late 2010's CGI movie
+ Animations and movesets
+ Works great on my machine. Polished and no crashes or soft-locks

- Steep learning curve
- The jumping mechanic feels a bit shallow could have used some work on it especially when jumping on platforms you feel you have less control

I hope in the future we see more of this IP, maybe a Netflix series with 8 episodes would be pretty good. Will have to see in the future

Amazing game but its still got the DNA of a broken port which might not even be fixed in future.

+ Amazing story, lore, setting and characters
+ Amazing Graphics which will push even the most powerful machines for years to come
+ Great AI that reacts to lots of stimuli and will try to outflank you in every position
+ Reworked enemies. E.g Bloaters will charge you and stalkers will always wait for you
+ Great animations with lots of variety to kill enemies
+ Development between Joel and Ellie

- Very resource heavy on machines
- Picking up items doesnt feel as responsive as the PS4 Remastered port
- Textures not loading properly - specifically 2D textures like facial hair, hair, certain surfaces and even weapon scopes appear broken

I bought this game back at launch and I must have enjoyed it that much I forgot to review. ToeJam & Earl was one of the first 10 games I played back when I was 2 years old. I was hooked. Definitely one of my favourite games. Back in the Groove is a great game with a nod to the old ones and the last one back in 2002.

+ Great characters and designs
+ Good music befitting of the series
+ Good voice acting (though very little)
+ Earthlings
+ Good level designs
+ Backer islands

- Odd glitch with enemies disappearing and reappearing
- Level underneath sometimes disappears leaving only the elevator visible
- Some presents just seem pointless

I hope its not the last we see of ToeJam and Earl

Most issues have been fixed. You might see the odd hitch but its mostly smooth now.

Pros;
Great remake from the ground up, the game is x10 scary than the original
Its the same Isaac Clarke from DS2 so he talks obviously, reacts to his injuries more and struggles to breath and tries to reign his breath makes the experience more immersive

Great lighting and shadows
Inherits the zero-space mechanics from DS2 so you have 360 movement with the thrusters although you cant centre yourself and move at the same time for some reason

Minors;
Game is very GPU/CPU heavy and somewhat unoptimised (not as bad as launch)
Dont like the UI and the map function feels quite restrictive compared to the original
The engineering suit is more detailed but the helmet has lost its lighting effect
Dont like the way point system, again, prefer the original

P5 was the first I played in the series back in 2017 on the PS4-Pro. I was grabbed and hooked. I love JRPG's but P5 has like stylised feel to it where everything connects smoothly. The animation, style and music compliment each other and work as one. Its even better on P5 Royal I feel like more content was added to justify the cost and it fits in nicely with the game without directing too many attention away from the story. However I do have a few gripes with it and feel as though Atlus should have addressed before release.

+ Feel good attitude
+ Graphics and animation
+ Diverse set Characters you can connect with on a personal level also each with their own sense of humour
+ Answer choices like something straight forward/Uncertainty/sarcastic/funny & witty
+ Locations
+ Character bonding moments
+ OST
+ DLC
+ Palaces (Dungeons)

- OST
- Poorly optimised
- Long intervals between saves like the school trip
- Game has been rebalanced and feels too easy

You may be wondering why I listed OST twice. The OST is great but its very jarring that during Mementos and Palaces you are constantly listening to the palace music, battle, hold-up, victory and back to palace music all in the space of 7secs. It doesnt help that the game is just too easy, enemies just aren't a threat at all. So listening to the music loop constantly gets annoying. Yes you can change the music by changing outfit but you shouldnt have to do that. What Atlus should have done is add like a JukeBox option where you can choose between many battle tracks from Persona and even other Atlus games and have it randomised as with the Victory tune. I actually managed to do this via modding. I've now got over 12 battle & victory tracks played at random and disabled the Hold Up music so it doesnt interfere with the battle music. It sounds much better to play. I dont quite understand why Atlus didn't think of this first.

Now as I stated before the game feels too easy. I play on hard but it turns out changing the difficulty just raises the elemental attack rate. So both allies and enemies get a buff. If your good at ambushing though enemies simply fall before you. I dont think I had that impression on the original P5. I dreaded certain enemies but on Royal literally nothing is a threat. The game has been nerfed for newcomers therefore no challenge at all. I have got a mod to fix this but its just simply a buff in enemy health. It doesnt fix it entirely but at least some enemies will put up a fight.

Lastly the game feels poorly optimised. Most of the time it runs smooth but I get the odd hitch in frame rate, the game freezes for about a second and carries on. My frames go from 60 to 0, sometimes its that fast the frame counter will stay at 10 before kicking up back to 60. Theres something holding this game back from keeping a locked frame rate

Spent about 2hrs on it now and its a very janky, stiff game however I can see where SEGA was trying to go with this one. Its got something that keeps you playing. You feel yourself start to get bored but then it throws something at you to keep you on your toes again and draws you back in and then it cycles on.

Theres something jarring about it though, Grinding the rails feels good and you feel a rush on top of that but they look off, they look like squiggly lines from a distance almost like eye floaters. Animation feels a bit stiff and the enemies (so far) look bland, not really colourful and not well thought out.

The graphics are good but they really need to fix the pop-in. Pop-in is terrible. I've had rocks appear right in front of me and landed on top of air which was a rock that didnt render in time. I've had a bird flew below me and straight into a tower so its like the birds lack AI they are just part of the scenery.

Theres definitely something good here but I can only describe this as like a previous-gen launch title, it tries to be something big but theres little bits here and there that pull it back. I think the game just needed another 3 months in the oven to prefect
