The franchise is know and loved for its singleplayer campaigns, and this game does not take that legacy seriously.
The singleplayer campaign is just to short and to on rails, ignoring everything that made the pervious games great. The studio seems to have made the all to common mistake of trying to go for a "wider audiance" making a game for nobody.
Save your money, play the old games instead.

The is the most punishing game i have ever played. The time lost in attempts that are lost in the final wave is prob 50% of the play time. But for some reason i keept playing and I must conclude that I really like this game, and there really issnt anything out there quite like it. 10/10 from me.

The single player campaign is unplayable. Units get stuck in the map, and battle just dossnt start and break the whole game. Its not worth buying yet.

I have played alot of games over the last 30 years but i have never tryed a game ending as bad as this. Until the end game i would have recomended this game. It has flaws sure but it can be fun, especially in coop.
But the end is so bad and irritating that i now can safely say, that this game is trash and you should not buy it. Also the writers of the "dialog" in this game should be ashamed of them self. Its all stupid and pridicteble. Everything the protaganist says is stupid, making you want to rip is toung out to spare your ears.
He migth be the least releateble and most iritatingly stupid player character i have ever seen or heard of.

The single player campaign is a 6 hour long cut scene. If you are looking for a first person ww2 shooter, go look somewher else, this is just a hammy film student movie that takes it self way too seriously.

22 Hours in im fianally ready to give up. I tried very hard to like this game but i just can't. It's a bad game, the reason i played for so long was because i keept hoping it would be good.

The basic problem with this game is that it is unpolished and that it dossn't do anything well, it does everything under par. The overall story is intresting, but the voice acting is bad, the player character is uninteresting and bland. Movement is difficult, sneaking and running is the same button. Jumping, vaulting and jetpacking is the same button, but if you start an animation like a vault you can use jetpack until its done. That led to many a death.

The combat system is bad, its unresponsive, klunky and slow. The damage from enemies is unforgiving, so you did alot caus you get stuck in an animation. Seems that everyone can break your comboes and you can break anybodies.

Crafting is hidden away in the game, and is more or less useless untill you are 10h in the game.

All in all, nothing is done well and everything is just almost done good enough. There is no one element that is bad, but the mass of under par elements make it a death by a 1000 cuts. 10 years ago this would have been an good game, today its just not.

Its not FTL but it is great fun :)
