Lets you play STRATEGIC RTS and not just sweat over APM or ridiculous micro.
Command tools more like real life and less abstract like most RTS.
Slightly clumsy but very well done.

Beyond All Reason is better in every way unless you want to smash planets into eachother.
Defense is not an option in this game, only Aggro.
If you want to build engines in moons to smash into planets, play PA: TITANS.

If you want a well balanced RTS with up to 30,000 units, play Beyond All Reason.

I have been a HUGE Annihilation fan since Supreme Commander and was very disappointed when Planetary Annihilation came out.

Only thing missing is Co-Op.
Co-Op would make this perfect.

The game itself is fantastic, better than Ace Combat in my opinion.

-Promised Multiplayer but never delivered.

When conditions change, so will this review. Great base game, terrible monetary policy and lack of delivery on promised features.

I've been a fan of these guys since Magicka.
Helldivers 2 is everything I wanted in a sequel. They've nailed the look, feel, excitement, humor. Everything.
Bring your friends.

Wanted to love it, came away disappointed.

They took the worst parts of overwatch (Invincible, dashing, stunning melee characters) cranked up the imbalance, and made the game totally about them.
All other classes are just fodder. Melee/Stun/Dash is all you need to win.
How to win:
1. Turn off brain
2. Mash the Dash/Stun button and don't let go of the melee button
3. profit?

Disappointed, would try again if they overhauled the balance.

Good thing: 12 Gundams start free, only 5 are locked. All are grindable and don't require any premium currency.
It is close to being good, but the game balance is unplayable right now unless you enjoy full teams of melee/stun characters.

Pros: Large Battles, Quick-Changing weapons setups mid-game, call-in vehicles, Bots, Portal. Portal is probably the best thing, followed closely by being able to do co-op vs ai.

Cons: Runs terrible. I have an RTX 2070 and only get 40-ish fps with settings on Medium/Low and Dynamic Resolution turned on (i.e, it turns the resolution down automatically to boost frames). Many games start with a glitched spawn screen so you have no choice but leave and try a different server until that server changes maps.

I firmly believe that a remastered and updated 2142 would have been much more worth their time, and much more loved by the community.

Overhyped. Very confined map design and resource system, combined with very low population cap make this just another, slightly different, rts. Hopes sunk.
