Mordhau is my absolute favourite game.
The freedom you have playing, the meme potential, and the extremely high skill cap makes this a blast to play!
The game has a steep learning curve, so if you want to git gud, you need to stay positive and open minded! Prepare to get knocked on your ass alot!
But dont fret! This game is perfectly playable for the casual warrior who just wants to smash some skulls in every now and then.

Pros:
-Extremely dedicated devs and moderators. They plan on supporting the game for years to come!
-Well optimized.
-High skill cap.
-Low skill floor.
-Has a great tutorial
-Official matchmaking servers to balance the field for newcomers. (Ranked matchmaking will come post-release)
-Great graphics.
-Smooth gameplay, the mechanics plays together really well.
-ALOT of weapons!
-ALOT of customization!
-Play both 1st or 3rd person!
-6 Great gamemodes. Frontline, Horde, BR, Skirmish(Last team standing), Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch.
-Modding tools are planned.
-Be a skilled fighter, combat medic, horseman, archer, support builder, trapper, blacksmith or anything else you can think of. With the great loadout system, you can create a variety of fun loadouts to use on the battlefield!
-No ugly ballerina fighters a la Chivalry. The devs hate those as much as you!
-You can end people rightly!


If you can see yourself in a mosh pit of death while bards are playing the theme for Game of Thrones around you, this is a game for you!

Cons:
-As with all competitive games, rivalries will occur. People get toxic when they dont fully understand some mechanics. (Feel free to ask a veteran player for advice)

Wait for mordhau instead. This game is not newbie friendly.
