This can be a fun game. It is a sandbox that allows you to have fun doing many things, but does not really hold your hand. There is no linear story, and you must discover your own reason to keep playing. The galaxy is 1:1, and you can explore every star. There are still unexplored stars out there. You can be a pirate. You can hunt pirates for their bounties. You can mine asteroids. You can Trade cargo - buy low and sell high. You can fight in interstellar wars. You can join any of dozens of player factions, devoted to many different goals. Community minded factions like the Fuel Rats take fuel to stranded pilots before they die in the black. Other factions are bounty hunter guilds, Trading guilds, and factions that manipulate the Background Simulation.

The game is ultimately what you make of it. Have fun.

Best Bethesda launch so far. Minimal bugs. Interesting story, decent combat. Only a few minor irritants. Good game, will be made better with mods. I am looking forward to finishing this game.

Nearing the tenth anniversary of the release of ESV: Skyrim (11-11-11 to 11-11-21), I still recommend this game. What makes it infinitely re-playable are mods. There are thousands of mods available for SSE on sites like https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition. People new to modding understandably face a lot of confusion. But there are a lot of guides out there on how to get started. The easiest and most comprehensive way is with Wabbajack.

Tools like Wabbajack (Wabbajack.org) offer completely stress free modding for people who don't know anything about modding, making modding your game in a comprehensive way simple. The modpacks on Wabbajack are extensively tested and work well, it is pretty much a one button install. The SSE selection for Wabbajack has something for everyone. Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

For the more experienced user, there are extremely complex mod guides like Dark Lady Lexy's Legend of the Dragonborn Special Edition (lexyslotd.com). This requires a lot of technical skill, no doubt about it, but the results are extraordinary. Beautiful graphics, loads of new quests, NPC's a new perk system, I could go on and on, it basically changes most every aspect of the game in some way, making Skyrim a deeper, richer experience. But very much not easy, very technical, fairly time consuming.

Any way you mod it, Skyrim is still worth playing ten years later. Mods breathe new life into an old game. And they remind us that Bethesda used to be a halfway decent game company.

This game is flawed, to be sure. Like all Bethesda games, it is buggy as hell and they don't care. The plot is kind of meh, when you think about it, some of the characters are flat, and essentially Bethesda did what they have done for the past 20 years. They released a steaming pile of garbage for their fans to fix for free. THAT is why I play Bethesda Games. The mods.

Mods make this game playable. They make this game enjoyable. They can make this game just about anything you want it to be. Like variety in your weapons? No problem, there are thousands of mods that add real world or sci-fi guns. Are you fashion conscious? There are mods for that. Like building? Mods cover that too. New Quests, or skip the main quest entirely? Sure.

I have promised myself I will never pay full price for a Bethesda game again, because I am tired of being delivered sub standard products. I will, however, continue purchasing Bethesda games, because I want to support the Modding community. I also contribute to certain Patreons and I am a premium member of Nexus Mods.

Skyrim and Fallout would not be the same without mods, and now you can use them more easily than ever with Wabbajack. You don't have to do any installation yourself. Check out Wabbajack.org to see how to download modpacks for Skyrim and Fallout 4.

This game is epic, in the oldest meaning of the word. A wonderful journey through Ancient Greece covering ancient landmarks and events. The story is compelling, the action is purely refined Assassin's Creed, and overall it is a smooth experience.

This game is really fun. By itself, the game is great. In VR, the game is better. Adding mods, the game surpasses all expectations. I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes exploration and survival games. There is also a pure creative mode for those who do not like the hassle of managing needs, and a mod allows you to experience the story in creative mode too.

Even after all this time GTA Online still keeps rambling onward. Every once in a while I visit again, a virtual vacation if you will, and I find new delightful ways to entertain myself. I do wish there was a clear pathway through the Online story, but the action in online is where you can find the fun.

Adr1ft presents an interesting simulation of wearing a spacesuit while solving a mystery and tackling a mild survival challenge. The VR 3d is amazing, no problems there. The environment presented is believable, immersive, and detailed; being a slightly futuristic space station struck by disaster.

The controls (for oculus) are acceptable, and the physics are also acceptable, balanced between newtonian and game-type (you don't have to carefully manage acceleration and deceleration or point thrusters in any particular direction).

Overall, Adr1ft is a fun couple of hours of play, with quite a bit of worth showing off to friends in "free drift" mode where you have no defined goals.
