basically everyone wants to kill you and steal your ♥♥♥♥. sometimes you manage to kill others and steal THEIR ♥♥♥♥.
then a group of a billion russians kills everyone and steals everything.

RULES:
1 every time you meet someone, its a duel to the death
2 every time you kill someone, you are accused of cheating
3 every time you get killed by someone, you accuse him of cheating
4 bears can fly
5 every time someon gets raided, they blame cheaters
6 every time you get raided, you blame cheaters
7 every time the developers change something, kids cry and whine on reddit. if the change is big they cry a lot, still play a billion huors per day and then post a negative review on steam "because the game is too grindy".

NOW THE SERIOUS BIT:
rust is supposed to be a survival game, and it has in place most of the skeleton for a GRAND survival game with no regulation whatsoever and no softcore ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. if you get screwed, youre screwed bigtime. sadly for marketing reasons it kinda turned into a big shooting arena. it's still very addictive and good fun.
since everyone will try to rob you it is imperative that yuo play consistently every day or you will not get anything done. so not a great game if you have little time or little interest, because no-lifers (and being so addictive it attracts a lot of them) will blow up your house and rape your sleeping body.

PROS
great core idea, nice enough gameplay
devs constantly pumping out updates,
devs listening to the community
you can wear a pumpkin on your head
you can eat the meat of your slaughtered enemies (or friends)
you can grow hemp indoors and the police cannot shoot you (even if youre black)
rust players are really, REALLY weird people
great graphics and ♥♥♥♥ (although you will need a plutonium powered machine to experience that)
you can wear a pumpkin on your head

CONS
kinda heavy on your computer. low-end machine means 20 fps on minimum settings
subreddit is full of toxic children, will get you cancer in minutes
devs listening to the community (even when they whine for stupid reasons)
say goodbye to your life for a while
unplayable in it's vanilla state if you are a filthy casual. plenty of modded servers tho

--if you play alone its probably the most intense thing you can currently do with a mouse & keyboard. forget horror games with monsters and ♥♥♥♥. you will start having nightmares about roaming packs of russians stalking people during the night.--

buy buy buy buy buy
