This game is the perfect model for a sequel down the line. It has a well thought out city design, in-game lore, factions, character stories and etc. but the game is brought down by bugs that hamper the immersion. Nothing better than having a serious conversation with an NPC and they start clipping into the ground.

Don't get me wrong, the game is great and absolutely worth your time and money, it'll just be worth it more so in a few months to a year once everything has been ironed out and polished with all the DLC potentially attached. Although be warned that I'm playing this on a new-ish rig with a 2060 and even on High graphics it's struggling a bit, this game currently is only meant for higher end set-ups in its current state.

I bought this game on the day of release, got to just passed the second boss, gave up and thought I'd never touch it again. Recently after persevering through Dark Souls 3, I came to love this genre of game, and immediately went back to Sekiro, and I was rewarded with one of the greatest and hardest games I had ever played. In short, the music is amazing, along with the sound design and clashing of swords, it's the most competent sword on sword game ever created, and I hope they expand the world of Sekiro in the future so I can experience more of it. The voice acting (I played in Japanese, which I recommend) is phenomenal, and adds to the overall mysterious atmosphere to the game. The story itself is one of FromSoft's least vague one yet, although are still lots of mysteries to solve and theories you can make on plenty of elements. I particularly enjoyed the quasi Buddhist mysticism throughout the game, it hasn't been explored much in games, and it was cool to experience. Overall, this game is worth every cent you put toward it, it's challenging, fun, exciting, and at some times terrifying. The environments are gorgeous, the boss animations are amazing, the range of tools and methodologies you can take to defeat bosses is awesome. All in all, if you want a challenge and something that offers you something you've never played before, I say give it try. If you feel like giving up, stick with it and you'll be rewarded with an amazing experience. 10/10
