Game is good and fun.
Just 2 bad notes :
- I'm playing on a AZERTY keyboard, and mini-games will ask me to press W when I should press Z, kind of annoying.
- Game is easy, there is no real difficulty, to the point that failing to a boss you restart the fight with full life and no loss, a little gaming challenge would have been appreciated.

But then yes, the manga style animations got me, I laughed a lot, the pixel art environment hit my heart as well, and the story + exploration are really good.
Definitely a great game.

RDR2 is a cool game. I'm nearly at the end of the story and I had much fun.

Now playing it online and what a disappointment. The game will crash every 30 minutes with error codes as talkative as : "Unknown Error FFFFFF" when there are any at all...
I was expecting much more stability from a 5 years old rockstar game.

The closest you get to technical support, is a chat bot on their website they call their "technical experts", what a shame.

(Running RTX 3070, i9 10900, 32GB RAM with lowest graphics and the game still crashes rancomly...)

My save was wasted by a patch in payday 2, but I thought mistakes happen and really enjoyed the game, so I pre-bought PD3 3 months ago.

Installed it today and how could it be that disappointing?!
- HAVE to register to a third party website!
- Made by starbreeze.
- Can't play offline, nor directly run a game solo.
- Can't control companions

- Only 8 heists (will be boosted by DLCs)
- Too few classes and skills (will be boosted by DLCs)
- DLC fest starting in 3... 2... 1...
- Weird level up mechanics

- With the release of PD3, they completely abandoned PD2 which is rotting away under the constant crashes.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thieves are all about milking money from gamers.
There is no love in games nor to the community.
I hate this studio, please do yourself a favour and stay very far from them.

Always loved Baldur's Gate, and both Divinity Original Sin are amazing games.
Mix this and have BG3 finely hand-crafted by Larian Studios. Enjoy.

Game is good but Ubisoft had to put its virus in.
So everytime you run the game you'll be asked 3 times for admin permissions for Ubisoft's virus to update itself and do whatever with your computer. That should be illegal.

Game is good, but it's ubisoft, so it comes with ubisoft's virus that will self-update and ask you for 3 permissions to control your computer every time you run the game.

Why are you still reading comments? buy the game already.

Edit : game is dead, producers only took the money, and basically stole everyone.
Won't ever buy early access again, that's basically theft.
And so yea, a big middle finger to the game studio management.

As of today, this is definitely not worth 50€.
There is a lot of bugs, mostly small but they ruin the fun. Like you can't close your fairing, and fuel seems to disappear when you use the same on different stages...
But then the game is quite promising, there are some cool new features, hopefully I'll switch that review to a recommendation in a few months.

The game is certainly old, I think last time I played it was 20 years ago on kongregate...
Funny enough, project Zomboid kept its 2d isometric view, with old-school graphics.
But what a leap on everything else, a couple hours of game and I know that I'm in for quite a while.
I'll summarize my first impressions:

Cons:
- game design isn't responsive, so on higher resolutions icons are super-small, text is unreadable, etc. Options don't help much for this, I edit my windows display settings to play.
- to make things worse game UI doesn't take care of translations either, text is split, goes out of boxes, or overlaps with other text : https://i.imgur.com/rzgh0Tr.png

Pros:
- Alive project.
- Really deep and interesting game mechanics.
- Cute old-style graphics.
- Multiplayer.
- What seems to be a big place to explore.
- Low price tag.
